FIVE HELMETS (4.25) has been found a lucrative opening by Iain Jardine in the 1m 2f handicap at Beverley.
His three-year-old was a bit out of his depth when only sixth to Euro Implosion at Ripon eight days ago but soft ground didn't help, either. Five Helmets had looked to be on an upward curve on his previous outing at Ayr when scooting clear on the good to firm ground. Conditions will be ideal today.
JOMROK (5.00) moves into handicap company after three solid efforts for Owen Burrows. Her latest third to First In Line at Doncaster is looking good on the back of the winner's excellent run at York yesterday.
At Yarmouth, GIFT OF GOLD (2.50) is unbeaten in two starts this season but has paid the price with an 11lb hike in his handicap mark. With Cieren Fallon taking off 5lb, Gift of Gold, so impressive at Glorious Goodwood, can complete his hat-trick.
The big race at Goodwood is the Group 3 Supreme Stakes and this 7f trip on drying ground will be perfect for favourite Limato. At the prices I'd prefer a decent each-way investment on MOMKIN (4.00) as his course third to Duke Of Hazzard is working out very well. Last year's winner Anna Nerium would prefer less lively ground.
