THOMAS PATRICK has been well supported ahead of today’s Ladbrokes Trophy Chase at Newbury and his backers are entitled to be fairly confident of a bold show.
Still only a six-year-old, Thomas Patrick was a three-time winner last season on soft/heavy and he made an encouraging comeback at Sandown when beaten half a length by the re-opposing Elegant Escape.
My selection is 5lb better off. Top weight Black Corton rarely runs a bad race under Bryony Frost and again should give his fan club a thrill at tasty each-way odds.

SPEEDO BOY was always travelling comfortably before asserting up the hill at Cheltenham and he looks capable of defying a 6lb rise in the 2m 4f Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle.

DO ITFORTHEVILLAGE was creeping into the race when blundering away his chance two out at Cheltenham in mid-November and is worth another chance. He ran well at both the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals in slightly better class last season.

BISHOPS ROAD found only Beware The Bear too strong in last year’s Rehearsal Chase at Newcastle and races off a 7lb lower mark today. Kerry Lee’s stayer finished a good second to Red Infantry at Haydock last weekend.

No where near rich mate, have a min wage job and two kids. I do this as a hobby, passion and a second income.
Everyone is rich compared to me mate i live on disability benefits i will never get a real job although i do 4 hours a week volunteer work and also i visit the eldery folk in my street keeping them company and doing what i can to help them.
