NOT ANOTHER MUDDLE was raised in grade here last time after scoring quite comfortably at Plumpton and Leicester, and although outpaced by impressive Dolos, he almost snatched third spot from front-runner Gino Trail. A repeat performance would make Not Another Muddle the one to beat.
Sandown 2.25
QUEENOHEARTS is 5lb worse off with Danse Idol on their running at Haydock when she had more than a length in hand. Stuart Edmunds’ six-year-old didn’t jump the last two flights with any fluency when still travelling strongly and is fancied to confirm form.
Lingfield 3.10
SHANGHAI GRACE has had a few chances but this is a suitable opening for the Charlie Hills-trained gelding to open his account following a solid second to Rectory Road at Kempton last month.
Newcastle 6.45
EPEIUS, wearing a first-time visor, had a lot of ground to make up on his last visit to Newcastle at the end of January but stuck his neck out to beat Bobby Joe Leg. A 2lb rise is very fair and Ben Haslam could hardly be in hotter form.

off to fakenham today, will try and cast my eye over runners in the ring and post some info right before off. 4/5 Brelan D’as in race 2 and 8/11 Risk a Fine (5lb lower than class 3 2nd, runs in class 6 today) in Race 6 should be good acca builders, Pistol Whipped in a tough race but he has raced once beating 2 subsequent winners and losing to subsequent winners.

there really doesnt seem to be too much for Generous Jack to beat in the first, but up in class and up 8lbs means unless he looks a dream in the ring I will be looking to bet against. Hopefully Bryony Frost wins on the fav in the 2nd, but from overnight it has gone from 8/13 to evens. The third, Pistol Whipped as I say has beaten a 133 horse so looks good, but hard to say before seeing them.
