It was annoying to see one of the two selections being a NR yesterday, as that has been happening a lot of recent. The selection which did run, was given a strange ride. After being raced prominently in recent starts, which has provided some good results, it was a surprise to see him held up and never involved. Strange decision, and one which I think the young jockey would have been told to do by the trainer.

Not a great price on offer, but DESTINEE ROYALE is surely the one they all have to beat if they want to win this race. She was in the midst of running a nice race from the front at Cheltenham until a freak incident happened where she jumped the fence perfectly fine, but somewhat slipped a few yards after landing and took a nasty fall. She was a progressive looking horse earlier last year in the previous season, so it was unfortunate to see that happen to her at Cheltenham. This trip seems about right for her, as she does stay further, but she doesn't quite have the same level of stamina, so this trip should be ideal on ground which should be fine for her.
As I've mentioned previously, I really like Venetia Williams, especially her Chase horses. I think that is down to the riding style of Charlie Deutsch. Obviously Venetia is a tremendous trainer, but the rhythm in which Charlie gets them into, it's quite special. His strike rate over fences is head and shoulders above his hurdles strike rate, and that's probably due to his style. He lets the horses get on with things, hence why a lot of Venetia's run from the front. He manages to get them to jump the fences for fun, so hopefully he can do this tomorrow on this mare. There are a couple in this race who look on good marks, so it will be interesting to see how she deals with them.

Noticed sore point had a pop at recoba and postman again yesterday and decided to ‘post elsewhere’ instead REALLY ☹️.
Posting a ***** or nap everyday is common place , Check the tabloids they post nap/NB or ***** or ****.
This is recoba’s own way of posting his best daily picks.
Placepots are valid too, bookies wouldn’t offer this market if they are to be avoided, why slate someone because you don’t think placepots belong on a tipping site.
I do them sometimes if the racing is shit, for a couple of quid can provide a bit of interest when nothing sticks out for an individual bet.
Surely we are all adult enough to scroll past stuff we don’t like or agree without criticising them, I look at all picks here out of curiosity and decide for myself what to take on board.
As for folk posting odds on tips, the site recoba uses a lot ‘getyourtipsout’ rarely posts odds against naps/NB and it seems to have a good following.
Odds on suits some punters, obviously bigger stakes needed to make them worthwhile but they see it as better having a 4-5 winner than an 8-1 loser.

Regarding ***** bets hes says ***** are his nap . I have seen him put 4 ***** bets in one day what would you say to someone who put 4 naps up in a day ???? . This also happens for his **** NB bets as well..
not going a long way back but just to prove a point Tuesdays thread 2 ***** (both lost) 4 *** does any of your taboid tipsters have 2 naps in a day even.
As for placepots nothing wrong with doing them for a bit of fun But yes tipping a placepot REALLY 6 horses at one meeting all studied and RACING TIPS .
The point is this is RACING TIPS thread big green banner at top of page and should be treated as such Been some good tipsters on here most who have moved on because of this I know as i chat with them on other formats.

Other comment you made if (if racing is shit) and nothing sticks out do a placepot .Fair enough do a placepot but is it fair then to put it on a tipping site ?? as you say just a bet cos bad racing not something confident so why advise others .

Elvis your right and I know your not having a go,I do use getyourtipsout now but it’s not greatest info bar NAP n Nb but it’s just another tool to help with US racing thats hard to get information on unlike UK etc
I’ve certainly put up a few you won’t find any tipping. Con On Run from Friday(?) was off my tracker against all tipsters on the fav and won and I could hunt more but after New Years (or after 10th Jan after isolating) I was only going to post tracker horses or personal fancies etc that aren’t well tipped or at all but if we all done that there be no tips!

Recoba wouldnt call putting ***** naps up advising as tips for others to bet as your comment above a bit of BANTER I personally would consider that more serious.

I don’t know, I guess we will know who wins from about 2 out. If Shishkin is within 2-3L I think he wins, any more and it will be very interesting.
But remember, this will NOT be their main target so whatever happens on Saturday it won’t be set in stone as to what happens at Cheltenham.

Yes, it’s all about Cheltenham for the 2 big guns however if Shiskin wins I think it will be very hard for Energumene to reverse the form at Cheltenham. Course form is vital and shishkin has done it twice already.
