A HUGELY disappointing week last week saw us leave empty handed from South Africa as our hopes were dashed by a despondent Rory McIlroy who continues to mourn the loss of a certain Miss Wozniacki.
As the Greatest showman on earth said it really is NOW OR NEVER.
Followers new and old will be slightly dismayed and correctly annoyed with last week's poor showing but stay true to the Slice and you will be rewarded.
This week the players head to the luxury of Dubai for the DP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and it's another biggy of the highest order.
When people say Dubai to me I think of high rise buildings, sand, the World Cup (even though that's in Qatar) and of course that video from the Clash; Rock the Kasbah.
The course itself is a par 72 set over 7,675 yards and the emphasis here is on length off the tee.
The fairways are very generous and if you miss them you might as well retire hurt from the tournament because there is clearly an issue or two going on.
Jon Rahm
With that in mind I'll return to my current idol and Spanish beast JON RAHM. Rahm won this event last year and given the scope of fairways he's likely to hit he's a DJ Khalid Vs Justin Bieber ‘no brainer’ for this week.
Ross Fisher
Next up take Ross Fisher, another bomber and an unbelievable performance last week given his misfortune in the 2nd round – Love a bit of bouncebackability! Ross could go close this week.
Alexander Levy
Finally our Wakefield (wildcard) of the week goes to none other than Alexander Levy. Levy is another man who gives it a good whack and has produced positive results in the Middle East before.
