Our Goals Acca Tips are based on a statistical analysis of recent performances.
Lyngby vs Copenhagen – Over 2.5 Goals
Following a 2-1 victory over Trabzonspor in the first-leg of their Champions League playoff on Tuesday, Copenhagen must turn their attention back to domestic action, as they travel to the Lyngby Stadion to take on Lyngby.
Jess Thorup’s visitors suffered a surprise 1-3 defeat at home to Randers last time out, meaning last years champions have lost three of their opening five Superliga fixtures.
Freyr Alexandersson’s hosts have collected just two points from their opening five encounters, but both of those came in their two home fixtures, including coming back from three goals down to draw 3-3 with Midtjylland in their last home match.
Over 2.5 goals has landed in both of Lyngby’s home fixtures this season, as well as in Copenhagen’s last four in the league and there’s a strong chance we’ll see another three strikes here.
Borussia Mönchengladbach to Score 2+
Gladbach will look to maintain their positive start to the season, as they host Hertha BSC at Borussia-Park on Friday evening.
After defeating 10-man Hoffenheim 3-1 on the opening day of the season, it looked like Daniel Farke’s side were going to make it two wins out of two last time out, but they conceded in stoppage-time to draw 2-2 with newly-promoted Schalke.
After being knocked-out the DFB Pokal by second-tier Eintracht Braunschweig, Sandro Schwarz’s visitors then began their Bundesliga campaign with a 3-1 defeat by city-rivals Union Berlin, but they managed to get their first point of the season last time out in a 1-1 draw at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Gladbach have lost just one of their last eight Bundesliga matches at home, scoring 2+ in six of them and look a good bet to bag another brace against a Hertha side that’s lost nine of their last 13 league fixtures on the road.
Olympique Lyonnais to Score 2+
Lyon will look to begin their Ligue 1 campaign with back-to-back wins, as they host a struggling Troyes side at the Groupama Stadium.
After opening up their Ligue 1 campaign with a 2-1 victory over newly-promoted Ajaccio, Lyon’s next fixture away to Lorient was subsequently postponed due to an unplayable pitch.
It’s mean a miserable start for Bruno Irles’ visitors, as they followed up a 3-2 defeat away at Montpellier by losing 0-3 at home to last years Ligue 2 champions Toulouse.
Peter Bosz has saw his side score 21 goals in their last six Ligue 1 matches at home, scoring on multiple occasions in each and there’s a strong chance they’ll score another couple against this leaky Troyes defence.
Sevilla to Score 2+
Two sides looking to bounce back from opening day defeats meet at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán late Friday night, as Sevilla host Real Valladolid.
Julen Lopetegui’s side began their campaign with a 2-1 defeat away at Osasuna, whilst last seasons Segunda runners-up lost 0-3 at home to Villarreal in their first match back in La Liga.
Sevilla were extremely strong at home in La Liga last season, winning 12/19 of their matches in front of their own supporters, with only champions Real Madrid leaving Andalusia with all three points.
Los Nervionenses scored 36 goals at home in the league last season, scoring on multiple occasions in 12 of them and there’s a good chance they’ll net at least twice against their newly-promoted visitors.
