ROSENBORG used to be the dominant force in Norwegian football but it's six years since they last won the title and they head into tonight's clash with Sarpsborg sitting nearer the drop zone than the top.
They're up against second-bottom Sarpsborg on the road but only four points separate the sides in a congested bottom half of the table.
A win tonight would fire Sarpsborg five places up the table to 10th place so they'll be desperate to make home advantage count.
With Rosenborg sitting in eighth place after 13 games, they don't have to worry about being dragged into the relegation fight just yet – but a defeat tonight would have them looking over their shoulder.
However, gaffer Alfred Johansson will still be thinking about getting into the hunt for European places, with fourth-placed Viking eight points adrift.

Rosenborg's terrible away form is the reason why they're having another disappointing campaign. They've won just once on the road all season and that victory came back in April.
Their last two away games have ended in defeats so that's probably why Betfred make them 9/5 outsiders tonight. But Sarpsborg's home form is also woeful, with five of their six game ending in defeats, including a 7-1 thrashing by HamKam.
So I'd be wary of backing them at 23/20, with the half-time draw more appealing at 7/5. The full-time stalemate also stands a chance at 13/5.
Both sides have been scoring and conceding, with BTTS and over 2.5 goals landing in Sarpsborg's last seven games and in five of Rosenborg's last six.
That bet pays just 4/6 here but adding over 7.5 corners boosts the odds to 21/20 in a bet builder.

It's a busy night of Euro qualifiers in the women's game and the pick of the games sees England take on the Republic of Ireland.
After losing in the World Cup Final, there's been a bit of a hangover for the Lionesses and they sit third in Group A3 behind France and Sweden.
But with those sides facing off in the other group game, the English can move back into an automatic qualifying place with a win over Ireland.

Dundalk v Drogheda Top Tips
There's an important game in the League of Ireland tonight as Dundalk host Drogheda in a battle of the bottom two.
Only two points separate the sides so a win for Drogheda would lift them above Dundalk and into the play-off place.
But the bottom dogs haven't tasted victory for nine games, although they did hold leaders Shelbourne to a 1-1 draw in their last outing.
Dundalk's form is better, with two wins in their last five, but they head into this clash off the back of two defeats.
It should be a tense 90 minutes so the half-time draw appeals at 11/10 while under 2.5 goals pays 8/11.
