AS far as betting opportunities go Saturday could be one of the biggest days we've had for quite a while.
There are three games from the Belarus league with three home teams big favourites with the treble paying round about 6-4 with McBookie.
And while we should have been looking forward to the Grand National instead the focus will be on the Virtual Grand National live on ITV.
And don't forget to have a go on the pools which are enjoying a resurgence.
I'm not big on racing but I always have an Aintree bet and I'll be doing so again with profits from losing bets going to NHS charities.
In 2018 Tiger Roll won both the virtual race and the actual Grand National then in 2019 the computer-generated version predicted three of the top finishers including Tiger Roll.
The favourite is 5-1 with William Hill and others and having rarely won on any race I might as well have a go here.
If the info fed into the computer is all correct then it will win and it would be apt if Any Second Now, 10-1 with Betfred, finishes second. You can of course have an eeach-way bet with most firms paying one-fifth the odds for a top-five place.
Third in the betting is Burrows Saint at 12-1 with Definitly Red 14-1 and Walking In The Mill 16s.
Kimberlite Candy and Magic of Light are next in the betting and both look good ew punts.
The Tom Lacey-trained gelding Kimberlite Candy is an eight-year-old (the same age as three of the last five winners) and recently took the Warwick Classic Chase by 10 lengths.
A strong-finishing second in the Becher Chase on this course last December will stand him in good stead, together with a handy weight and no clear ground dependency.
The Belarus League continues and one of the best-known teams are BATE Borisov due to their past exploits in the Champions League.
Kirill Alshevsky’s men, however, have lost their opening two games and will be doubly determined when promoted Rukh Brest visit today.
BATE are expected to make amends for their shaky start and are a best 1-3 at bet365.
Rukh were formed just four years ago and this is the first meeting between the clubs. On paper there's a huge gap and I'm on BATE -1 at evens with McBookie.
Shakhytor are also a short price at home to Nemad Grodno – a side they've beaten four in a row at home with an aggregate of 11-10.
Bet365 go 2-5 on the home win and Shakhytor could be worth a look to win to nil having conceded in just two of 12 in this fixture, at evens with BetVictor.
Champions Dinamo Brest are unbeaten at home since July and are another short price against Slavia Mozyr with bet365 and BetVictor going 1-3.
A treble on BATE, Shakhytor and Dinamo Brest pays 6-4 at bet365 and will be popular with big hitters.
I posted my poolss picks earlier but I've listed them again – online deadline is 2.55pm.
Good luck if you have a bet today – and let's hope the NHS Charities make what they deserve.

Instead of using algorithms for the virtual national it would be better if 40 people were each given a spectrum zx keyboard and they battered the hell out of it for 4 mile plus trip. Those who played Daley Thompsons Decathlon would see their odds slashed massively.
Remember that game well, that and operation wolf on the spectrum.
Cavern fighter was ace ?
? memories!
Remember gang fights kicking off in Bury in the pool hall over Double Dragon when it came in…mind, most of the lads involved had never seen electricity, running water or schools by then ?
Jet Set Willy,R-Type, Gauntlet,Skool Daze & Chuckie Egg worthy of a mention on spectrum, how I miss the flashing multicoloured horizontal lines and that screeching tone as it loaded for half the morning ??
Big Dizzie fan in those days
Great memories of playing Decathlon back in the 80’s smoothsailor. My index and middle fingers were super fit bashing away to that game as you said. My spectrum was the original edition with the smaller keyboard which had rubber keys and not plastic. Cheers for the flashback….
Haha quality

Been a long week and not had the chance to check in too much so hope all is well with everyone!
The midweek Nicaraguan goals bets did the business but nothing on the footie front so will have a speculative ping on the pong for low stakes…

Can pretty much guarantee that it will be pre programmed that Tiger Roll will not win given that it will mean an even bigger profit going to the NHS.
The virtual race as far as I’m aware has already been run … before any announcement about profits going to NHS.
Thanks for your pools picks. In fact, I was expecting them earlier but, nothing actually surfaced until now. Indeed, I’m simply interested in your brief but brilliant analysis about your picks.
Apparently, I take this opportunity to remind everyone that for this weekend, we have been advised to stay at home. Please, let us heed the advice. Cheerio
They were posted earlier than usual. You have to remember doing the pools is like doing the lottery so in many ways analysis is difficult, especially when the panel are picking the results.
The top treble is 5/2 on betway
The virtual Grand National has already been ran.It takes over a year to make ie: Graphics of horses, crowds, noises, prices, billboards etc etc etc etc.Only 20 people know the outcome already & they have had to sign an agreement not to leak the result.
Mr F, excuse my ignorance, but what are the pools?

I have raved about how good the Burundi league is for years now (actually minutes) and finally it gets in moment in the spotlight.
Having spent an exhaustive amount of days and weeks (seconds) pouring over algorithms and complex specialist software programmes – the computer predicts Le Messager Nogozi will score 2+ in the 12.30pm kick off.
*Disclaimer. Trump may prove to be more believable then this tip.
Nyancat FC (NFC) eSports v Tundra (TES) eSports
NFC to score 2+ goals @ 2/5

Elvis is too good… What!
Just watched the five classic World cup games from various decades on BBC there. All magnificent show pieces for our beautiful game. How did Tam Forsyth get a game in that great 1978 Scotland and how did he miss that 2 yard header in the final minute against Holland.? So many good players on show and Graeme Souness bossed the game and oozed class. What a player he was.
That silky white Dutch away strip was one of my favourite shirts of all time.
Nice day in the room for memories….
The Denmark top against Uruguays hatchet men was top dollar as well,21yr old Mikhail Ladrup running riot
Laudrup ?
nigerias kit from the last world cup was sold out within a week
sure was a great top mr h. Designed by Hummel and still stands the shirt test of time. Laudrup was sensational. Low gravity and two wonderful feet.

For a cartoon race that wasn’t a bad watch i got some return back from burrows saint and walk in the mill finishing in the first 5 and more importantly made my donation to the NHS i hope that plenty was made for the cause and hopefully life can get back to normal soon well done all involved
Well said buzzer, had two finishing in the first 5, Any Second Now and Tiger Roll. Most importantly the NHS are the biggest winners.
Was well done. I only had a bet because the NHS are profiting so that’s me donated £30.

8 score draws again from the Pools panel- are the under contract for that. I had five of them and still not enough. They need to be given a nudge… my plan requires 11 or 12 at least. At least todays results were a bit more sensible- just not enough of them.
I can see why they’re going for 8 – you hardly ever get 11 or 12 even when games are played.
I’d lower your sights.

The BELARUS Premier League Treble @ 6/4 looked to good today, 3 short priced homes.

Overs lands in the Dinamo game, hoping for a cricket score in the first game tomorrow.
Liverpool FC has hit a new low in going to the government cap in hand to get them to use public money to pay 80% of its staff wages, absolutely disgusting when the NHS and the sick are struggling so badly due to a lack of funding etc SHAME ON LIVEPOOL FC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disgusted myself to be honest for a club that has just been valued as the highest in Europe.Biggest club in the world and they don’t need to do that.
The greedy owners Macca nothing to do with the good folk of Liverpool and you just know all the other greedy money grabbing owners in the prem lg will follow suit. Disgraceful !!
Why though should football clubs and players need to be donating money towards the NHS,we are one of the richest countries in the world and basically the tries want footballers money, cheeky tw*ts.Burnley have stated if they don’t finish the season they will run out of money.
I think it’s morally correct to ask people earning tens of thousands of points a week to help out,
Re Burnley that’s one reason why UEFA are desperate to finish the season. It also suggest the club have been reckless with their spending.
Fair play to Carragher for speaking up against it.
Pretty horrible move by the owners of LFC. Could understand if it’s one of the lower table clubs who don’t get the attendances or income I.e. Bournemouth.
The government should have put in places rules that didn’t allow this.
A lot of people trying to take advantage.
Man Utd will follow suit, also I might add these football clubs pay he’ll of a lot in income tax so for me are entitled just like the rest.
I think the main concern is furloughing staff but not furloughing players and we all know why that doesn’t happen.
Macca you cant be serious??? Are you suggesting they have every right to claim public money to pay their staff because they have paid tax and you see nothing morally wrong with that? Sounds like an excuse a Tory minister comes out with after taking from the poor/sick and cut backs to the NHS to give a tax cut to the Billionaires, was a time you’d have got strung up on Merseyside for promoting that nonsense.

A veritable feast of football excellence ?.
Can’t believe that Liverpool story, must be fake news.
Liverpool usually look after their own, probably an Everton fan stirring.
O.m.g it’s true.
That is surprising I’ve got to say.
Could this be a sign they are not expecting to be needing staff again this year ?.
Even if there are behind closed doors games in the autumn, it will be in a safe central location where all teams will play and no need for club staff
We see all thats good and decent in the ordinary people who staff the NHS and the low paid workers still keeping the supply chain going in grocery shops etc despite the risk to themselves and then we see the maggots that are the Billionaire class, people like Richard Branson { virgin}, Mike Ashley { sportsdirect} and Tim Martin { Wetherspoons} who have the morals of alley cats and couldn’t care less about the welfare or well being of staff as they are only interested in profit margins.I just hope people remember this when this hell is finally over and boycott them completely.

Macca dont get me started on payin tax. Am a self employed joiner who is 60yo and payed my tax for all my yrs and never had a benefit paid to me in my life. Now i hhave to wait till june to get money out of this government. Liverpool fc have lower themselves into the gutter by asking the government for money. They have more money than a horse can sh-t but ask for a bale out. They didnt need to and shouldn’t have done this. You say we are 1 of the richest country’s in the world. Then why do we have 1000s of people living of food banks. If thos keeps going for a long time there will be 10’s of thousands on food banks. Av been a Liverpool fan since 1971 when they played hibs at easter rd in the fairs cup but tonight they have shot themselves in the foot . BIG TIME.
Sean ireland. 100% spot on.
Quite ironic that the only clubs were discussing using the furlough scheme are from the self proclaimed richest league in the world. My team Aberdeen announced the following today.
Club Manager, Derek McInnes, his coaching staff and players, have agreed to partially defer payment of salaries and bonuses for four months from 1st of April.
Higher paid, non‐football staff will also be taking partial salary deferrals. These steps will improve the Club’s cashflow by £1.1million.
If players and staff from a club like my team who aren’t paid a fortune can do this without prompting, surely the premier leagues players could take it upon themselves to do something similar.
