IT was a great night for Bayern Munich who took a massive step towards the title with a 1-0 win at nearest rivals Borussia Dortmund.
The result leaves the champions seven points clear at the top after restarting the season with three victories.
It wasn't the goalfest most punters expected but Bayern in particular were wasteful and should have won by more.
With Bayer Leverkusen being thrashed 4-1 at home to Wolfsburg it was a decent night for the bookies.
Dortmund clearly missed the Yellow Wall and it's interesting to note just one of the last 13 Bundesliga games have been home wins. Clearly the presence of no fans has played into the hands of away teams.
But well done to any winners including Greg who tipped 11+ goals in Bundesliga 2.

If it wasn't for the stats about home wins I'd be on Fortuna Dusseldorf and Augsburg.
Schalke were destroyed by Augsburg who are just about evens to beat bottom dogs Paderborn but I'm going safer with Augsburg draw no bet.
And Fortuna are big enough at just under 2-1 to allow me to take them not to lose at home to Schalke who have conceded seven and scored none.
Complete the treble with both to score at Hoffenheim vs Cologne with the away side drawing both matches 2-2 since the restart. They look good going forward with Anthony Modeste ever dangerous but can also chuck them in at the other end.
For the early match at Leipzig I fancy the home win and goals with both teams in confident mood.
Werner is 5-2 at 888sport to score first but he'll have plenty of competition.

Bookies made a howler last night,I was looking at fixtures and the Hungary cup was on offer,Honved v Mtk Budapest the first game ended 0-0.my first thought was a draw so I put 25 quid on it pre game they couldn’t separate the two with the odds on offer.Then kick off and the odds sharply changed and they made Honved 3/1 outsiders I thought ffs.I went on flash scores and looked at the first game and checked the stats of that game in detail and Mtk absolutely battered Honved on the shots count etc but still it ended 0-0 so I was quite happy I had backed the draw,I thought there’s more to be had out of this game 4 mins gone same story Mtk battering Honved obviously people were backing the away side and when I looked inplay again I couldn’t believe my eyes when it was 16/1 for the game to be decided on pens.I took that and at half time it was still a massive 8/1. So I took that aswell knowing the game would more likely be the same as the first leg,with that and dc,s 10/1 it made for a very goodnight indeed.😁😁

You’ve obviously spent a bit of time digging these out so you have made your own case for having a bet.
If it wins your research has paid off.

So both teams sit 3rd in their respective leagues Lech Poznan in Ekstraklasa (that’s the top league)
And in I Liga (below) are Stal Mielec
Now, both teams have strong corner stats.
Stal Mielec have the highest for corners in the league at home 8 average. 88 in 11 games
Overall they’ve had the second most corners from the 22 played 6.76
Against corners is an average of 5.5 per match.
Lech are the top corner getters in the top league, they average 7.2 corners a match
They are highest in polish league for corners average home 8.38 and average away 6.15
The overall average for them conceding corners is 4.69
Given the nature , cup tie, top polish team v a decent leading 1 division team , and despite no ‘ ‘crowd to do the Poznan ‘ factor, do feel good opportunity here for plethora of corners.
Lech Poznan have hit 19 and 12 corners this year
The last 3 away matches (albeit these were in Feb and one in December) have managed 7 , 12 and 7 . So at least 7 corners are being made.

Corners turned into a damp squib last night and I’m trading the Germanic football for a more tropical Costa Rican kickabout…

This is the reverse fixture of Monday night’s affair where I opted for the far-flung ‘team highest scoring half’ market – it landed at 7/4 and there’s sometimes good prices to be had if you can justify it.
This (sort of) justified itself with H2Hs being consistently low scorers where Escazucena were the away side in historic fixtures fixtures but them hitting a solitary goal.
This one, on their own patch, tells another story though and the H2Hs have consistently been higher scoring matches which is reflected in the pricing…however, 8/11 for over 2.5 is no price given the low scoring return of this league post lockdown.
Instead, I think there may be more value in applying the old adage of anticipating that any game that CAN go to extra time WILL go to extra time!
Of course it is far from foolproof but it does have a canny knack of coming good in such games and I’m willing to invest a couple of speculative dubloons on the following:
