THIS should have been my last trip to Belarus but the Bundesliga's plans to kick off next weekend have been delayed by at least a week.
Tips from Belarus have been hit and miss and again I'd advise punters to check out the card markets.
Or better still check out Greg's tips – he had more success on Friday and his studying is paying dividends.
The only problem with match bookings is bookies are aware of the indiscipline and you need six or seven cards to make decent money.
There are three games on Saturday starting with FC Minsk vs Torpedo Zhodino at 12 noon. The teams lying third and sixth are evenly matched and a draw pays 19-10 at bet365. This has been the outcome in seven of the last 10 meetings between the sides.
Minsk and Torpedo are two of the better behaved sides but the same can't be said for Rukh Brest who entertain Gorodeya at 2pm.
Rukh have collected 21 yellows and two reds in six games while their opponents are the cleanest team in the league. Take Rukh to have over 30 bookings points at evens with Sky Bet and more points than Gorodeya at 15-8.
There could be plenty of cards but goals could be at a premium. Just four goals have been netted in total in Ruh’s six league games while all six of the visitors’ matches have gone under 2.5 goals. That pays 5-11 at sportingbet.
The final game could be the best as Dinamo Minsk welcome leaders Slutsk. Both teams have found the net in five of Slutsk’s six league games while Minsk are second highest scorers behind their visitors. Back btts at evens with bet365.

Learnt a lesson yesterday, had Energetyk over 3 cards with William Hill, they count two yellows and a red to the same player as two cards so was a looser, the same bet with Skybet would have won at the same price, worst of it was I only went to Hills to try and spread my bets around the companies as a bit of a good will gesture, fortunately followed Greg on Sky so broke even but would have been a good win had I stayed with Sky. Moral of the story is read the small print.
On the total booking points two yellows and a red to the same player is counted as 35 points (on William Hill) hence I mistakenly presumed it would be the same.

For the match corners they count points the same as many others i.e. two yellows and a red to one player is 35points but for team corners they count cards and two yellows and a red is two cards – I do feel conned a little bit but as has been said ‘read the rules’. At least I’m aware of it now.

Like yesterday’s match at Smolevichi, this looks like another strong candidate for cards given the sides involved and the fact we have a card happy referee taking charge.
Slutsk have the 3rd worst disciplinary record in the league (I like to say 3rd best) having picked up 20 🟨 and 2 🟥 in their opening 6 games.
They are averaging 4 team card per match having picked up 3/4/2/3/6/4 and have delivered 3+ team cards in 5 of their 6 matches.
They have hit 8 cards in their two away games and they are big outsiders at 9/2 to get a result which I must admit is surprising given they top the table with 13 points.
The referee in charge of this one is Sergy Stetsurin and he is not shy in dishing out the cards. Incredibly he’s shown 33 🟨 and 2 🟥 from his 6 matches this season, averaging over 6 cards per game.
Again, Slutsk look appealing to land most card at 4/6 but I’m happy to take Slutsk 3+ team cards at 4/9 and I’ll be doubling that up with the Belshina v Dinamo Brest match on Sunday to hit 9+ match corners.
Both Slutsk and Dinamo Minsk have seen 2 red cards this season and with card happy Stetsurin the man in the middle, a red card is worth backing.

I can now confirm after getting access via laptop that bet fred have like bet victor settled SPFL wagers as league positions stood when 3 Scottish leagues were abandoned. Not void.
So to remind you winners declared Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers, this is extremely tough on those who bet Falkirk to win outright, but that’s how it goes with gambling, I really thought all bookies would have stood together as an industry on this, I had expected them to declare all SPFL bets void and return All stakes, but there must be a profit for them (bet fred and bet victor) to settle in this manner,
Couple of points. Bookies can’t go against their rules so the decision can’t be taken on a financial basis.
They can of course play by their rules and make goodwill gestures.
Finally, bookies are rivals so have their own rules – and that’s what sometimes gets them customers.
It would be easier for punters if they had the same rules but it’s never going to happen.
