Following on from Sunday’s winner in Germany, Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me take a trip to the Slovakian top flight and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Zilina will look to strengthen their position at the top of the Slovak First Football League tomorrow evening as they welcome Ruzomberok to the Stadion pod Dubnom in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Michal Scasny’s hosts are the leading scorers in the Slovak top flight, slamming in 26 goals across their opening 11 matches, with 16 (62%) of them coming on home soil.
The Sosoni have struck on multiple occasions in nine of their past 10 league outings – including in each of their opening six (100%) in front of their supporters – and will be confident of adding to their goal-tally against a Ruzomberok defence that has yet to register a clean sheet on their travels this season, shipping multiple goals in 4/5 (80%) of them.
Ondrej Smetana’s visitors have scored 14 goals across their opening 11 matches in the Slovak top flight this term, with seven (50%) of them coming across their five road trips.
The Rose are the only side in the division to have found the back of the net in all of their league matches – striking on multiple occasions in three (27%) of them – and will look to continue their goal-scoring run against a Zilina defence that has kept just one clean sheet and conceded seven goals across their opening six league matches on home soil.

Zilina’s opening six league outings on home turf have averaged an eye-catching 3.83 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in five (83%) of them – and given the same has landed in all five (100%) of Ruzomberok’s league outings on their travels this season- I’m happy to have a punt on there being a minimum of three strikes, with the free-scoring hosts scoring at least two of them.
