Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Swiss Super League, and there’s one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

Two clubs at opposite ends of the Swiss Super League table meet at the Swissporarena tomorrow evening as second-placed Luzern hosts bottom-side Winterthur in a match that appeals to me for goals at both ends.
Luzern have scored 45 goals in the Super League this term, with 20 of those coming at home. Mario Frick’s host's host have found the back of the net in 11/14 of their league tussles in front of their supporters this term – only failing to score against Basel (twice) and third-placed Servette – and should be more than capable of breaching a Winterthur defence that have registered a solitary clean sheet and conceded 27 goals across their 14 Super League fixtures on the road this campaign.
Winterthur have scored 27 goals in the Swiss top-flight this season, with 13 of those coming on the road. Bruno Berner’s visitors have found the back of the net in 18 of their previous 19 Super League encounters – including in eight of their last nine away from home – and they’ll look to trouble a Luzern defence that has kept just two clean sheets at home this season, with just one of those coming across their previous 12.

Both Teams to Score has banked in 12 of Winterthur’s previous 15 Super League fixtures, as well as in eight of their last nine away – and given the same has landed in eight of Luzern’s previous 11 Swiss top-flight matches at home – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides getting on the scoresheet for the third consecutive meeting this season.
