Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Finnish top flight, and there’s one fixture in particular that stands out to me for goals at both ends.

Two clubs separated only on goal difference in the Finnish Veikkausliiga meet at the Veritas Stadion on Tuesday afternoon as 6th-placed Inter Turku play host to 7th-placed Ilves in a fixture that appeals to me for goals at both ends.
Jarkko Wiss’ hosts have scored 14 goals in the Finnish top flight this term, with eight of those coming in front of their supporters. The Sinimustat are the only side in the division yet to fail to score this season – scoring on multiple occasions in 3/4 (75%) at home – and will look to breach a Ilves defence that has only recorded two clean sheets across their opening 11 league outings this campaign.
Toni Kallio’s visitors have scored 12 goals in the Finnish Veikkausliiga this term, with half of those coming across their previous four matches. The Tampere-based club have found the back of the net in 9/11 (82%) of their league contests – only failing to score away at KuPS (1st) and SJK (2nd) – and will look to trouble an Inter Turku defence that has registered just two clean sheets across their opening nine league matches.

Both Teams to Score has banked in a league-best 7/9 (78%) of Inter Turku’s Veikkausliiga fixtures this campaign – and given both have obliged in 7/11 (64%) of Ilves’ league outings this season – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides find the target for the second consecutive meeting this season.
