Football Bet of the Day: Head to China For Goals on Monday Lunchtime

Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Chinese top flight, and one fixture in particular appeals to me for goals at both ends.

Chengdu Rongcheng will look to move upto 2nd position in the Chinese Super League tomorrow afternoon as they welcome Beijing Guoan to the Chengdu Phoenix Hill Football Stadium.

Chengdu Rongcheng are the joint-third highest scorers in the Chinese Super League this term, scoring 22 goals across their opening 13 matches, with 12 (55%) of them coming at home. Seo Jung-won’s have found the back of the net in 11/13 (85%) of their league contests – striking two or more in eight (62%) of them – and should be more than capable of breaching a Beijing Guoan defence that’s registered just three clean sheets all season, shipping multiple strikes in each of their last five.

Beijing Guoan are the joint-third highest scorers in the Chinese Super League this term, scoring 22 goals across their opening 13 matches, with 15 (68%) of them coming across their previous five. Ricardo Soares’ visitors have found the back of the net in all bar one of their league outings this campaign – scoring on multiple occasions in four of their last five – and will aim to breach a Chengdu Rongcheng defence that’s registered just two clean sheets across their seven league matches as hosts.
