Sundays Football Bet of the Day sees me take a trip to Asia in the morning where I’m backing the home side to secure a narrow win.
Daegu vs Seoul
?? K League 1
⏰ Sunday 6th June, 08:30
Daegu host Seoul at the DGB Arena early on Sunday morning. Daegu currently lie in 3rd spot but know a win will lift them into 2nd place and a point behind leaders Ulsan. Seoul currently sit in 11th position with only Gwangju below them.
Daegu have been impressive form of late going unbeaten in their last 9 league games winning 8 of them. At home Daegu are unbeaten in their last 6 games winning 5 of them. A key component for their strong home form is their resolute defence. Daegu have kept clean sheets in their last 5 home games. Daegu have scored in all bar one of their league games and scored in 16 out of 19 so know it may take a solitary goal for them to win the game. All 5 of their home wins this season have featured less than 5 goals.
Seoul have been on a disastrous run of form failing to win any of their last 9 league games collecting only 3 points. Last time they put in a disappointing performance and succumb to a 0-3 to Suwon Bluewings, the side directly above Daegu. The main problem for Seoul is their lack of goals. Only Seongnam (14) have fewer than Seoul’s tally of 15 goals this season.
Bet of the Day
3rd place Daegu are flying at the moment and I’m backing them to secure all three points at home to out of form Seoul. Both sides games don’t usually feature a lot of goals and with Deagu’s strong defence and Seoul’s lack of goals, I’m happy to add in under 4.5 goals.
- Daegu to win & under 4.5 goals
- Pays 1/1 (Betway/Bet Victor)
