Euro 2024 Bet of the day

Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Premier League, and there’s one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

⚽️ AFC Bournemouth vs Brighton & Hove Albion

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Premier League

⏰ Tuesday 4th April, 19:45

Bournemouth will look to move further away from the relegation zone as they welcome European-chasing Brighton to the Vitality on Tuesday night.

Bournemouth recorded back-to-back home victories for the first time in the Premier League this season, as they followed up their 1-0 success over Liverpool by coming from a goal down to defeat Fulham 2-1. Gary O'Neil’s men have now lost just one of their previous five Premier League as hosts, with that being a 1-4 defeat against title-chasing Manchester City. After failing to score in four of their opening six Premier League fixtures as hosts, The Cherries have found the back of the net in seven of their next eight, scoring on 11 occasions.

Brighton head into this fixture having lost just one of their previous 10 Premier League outings (W5-D4-L1), as they came from behind three times to draw 3-3 at home to Brentford on Saturday. Roberto De Zerbi’s visitors are unbeaten in each of their last six Premier League fixtures on the road but have drawn each of their previous three – including twice throwing away a lead to draw 2-2 against relegation-threatened Leeds in their last away assignment. The Seagulls have failed to score in just one of their 12 Premier League matches on the road this campaign, with only league leaders Arsenal (28) scoring more than their tally of 24

Bet of the Day

Brighton travel to the Vitality boasting the joint-second-best attack away from home in the Premier League and will look forward to coming up against a Bournemouth defence with the worst defensive record in the division. However, The Seagulls have kept just one clean sheet on their travels this term, and that will give hope to a Bournemouth side that has scored in seven of their last eight league fixtures at home.

Both Teams to Score has banked in a league-high 10/12 (83%) of Brighton’s Premier League fixtures on the road this season – and given the same has landed in four of Bournemouth’s previous five league contests at home – I’m happy to have a punt of both of these clubs getting on the scoresheet down on the south coast tomorrow night.
