MY super start to February continued with two Super Single winners at 12-5 and 13-10.
Aberdeen draw no bet was the first I put up while my other Super Single was a treble involving big guns – Juventus to win, PSG to score 2+ and Barcelona -1. I didn't see where that could go wrong although Juve made me sweat a little.
My Top Treble and both to score accumulators flopped but I'm still in profit with the multiple bets and that's always a challenge.
It was an OK night for Greg who was one Lille goal short of his nap but landed a 7-4 over 2.5 match goals double thanks to late strikes at Everton and Aberdeen. Failures by well-fancied pair Bologna and Bordeaux tripped up Jordan and Scott Allot but they'll be back.
There's not a lot happening on Thursday but enough to keep us interested. Cup specialists Sevilla are at home to Celta Vigo in the first leg of the second Spanish Cup semi-final with the winners facing Barcelona.
Sevilla are massive favourites at 8-11 with Skybet and will be desperate to take a lead to Vigo having failed to win on the road in La Liga this season. All 10 of their wins have been at home and they also travel to Vigo on league duty at the weekend.
Celta have won on two of their last three visits to Sevilla and reached the last four with a 3-2 win at Atletico Madrid so they will be dangerous opponents. They are unbeaten in the cup despite rotating with the likes of John Guidetti being given plenty of game time.
Vigo followed their shock win at the Vicente Calderon with defeat at Las Palmas and so impressive is their home form I have to side with Sevilla.
There is one game in the French league with St Etienne visiting inconsistent Rennes. It's a tough one to call with St Etienne having failed to win on their last six visits to face the Brittany side. Five of the last six meetings have been draws – 0-0s and 1-1s – so a stalemate and under 2.5 goals look the best bets.
The only UK fixture is the JP Trophy semi-final betwen Fleetwood and Barnsley and it's nicely poised at 1-1 after the first leg. Barnsley are in better form but in this tournament the only bet I'd take is both to score at 8-11 with bet365.
There are also cup games in Holland (PSV v Utrecht) and Portugal (Braga v Rio Ave) and team news for those matches is vital although it's reported both Portuguese sides will be at full strength for their semi-final with a Europa League place on offer to the trophy winners.
My only bet today is a low-stakes treble on Sevilla, both to score at Fleetwood v Barnsley and under 2.5 goals at Rennes v St Etienne.
Meanwhile, I was looking at Scottish Cup prices ahead of the weekend's ties and spotted what could be the best 4-5 offer I've seen. That's the price on Premiership side and League Cup finalists Ross County to beat junior outfit Linlithgow Rose at home on Saturday by three or more goals.
I'd be happy to do a big single on that but for an advance Super Single I'm going with County -2 and Celtic -3 at Lowland League outfit East Kilbride at Airdrie's ground on Sunday.
There is a massive gulf between the Premiership and non-league sides and minimum requirement should be 4-0 or 5-0 wins as long as they go about it professionally and are not complacent.
County crushed Championship Falkirk 7-0 in an early League Cup round and should be hitting seven or eight past Rose and if Celtic go full strength they could do the same on Sunday.
I believe County -2 and Celtic -3 is big at 2-1 at Paddy Power and I'm risking 5pts.

Really like the look of sevilla v celta vigo. Should be goals here and over 2.5 looks solid at 4/5.

Obviously a lot depends on team selections but expecting strong lineups from both.

craneguy, there is a world of difference between EK and Celtic. Any team can score a goal but I’d be surprised if Celtic concede.
