MAN UTD are 15 points clear at the top and the title race is over.
But try telling that to Roberto Mancini and he'll probably tell you to f*** off!
Mancini swore at reporters on Friday when asked about his future and you can sure his coat will be on an even more shoogily peg if his side slip up at home to Chelsea.
City are just four points clear of Chelsea so even second place isn't secure although a win today will go a long way to taking them there.
Chelsea are unbeaten in four but haven't been that impressive and struggled past Sparta Prague in the Europa League, although Rafael Benitez rested some players.
It's a must-win for City, who have failed to pick up points in their last three away games, and I can see them edging out the Blues. Skybet offer Mancini’s men at 11-4 to win by one and that's possible.
Just to win it's 1-1 City with Ladbrokes while Chelsea are 10-3 at BetVictor with the draw 13-5 with Paddy Power.
City missed Yaya Toure when he was at the African Nations but he netted the opener in the FA Cup win against last week and is 4-1 at Stan James to score at anytime.
Frank Lampard is bidding for his 200th Chelsea goal and it would be a great time to reach the landmark. He is 7-2 at unibet and Stan James to achieve it.
The other Premier League game sees Newcastle entertain Southampton at St James's Park and this is an interesting one.
Alan Pardew's men have shown signs of revival since recruiting a handful of Frenchmen last month and beat Chelsea at home last time out.
They did well to beat Metalist in Ukraine on Thursday but it's 3500-mile round trio that could have taken a lot out of the players.
Southampton will be much fresher and having lost just at Man United since Mauricio Pocchetini replaced Nigel Adkins I can see them picking up a point at least.
Saints were superb in beating Man City 3-1 in their last outing two weeks ago and are a biggest 11-4 with the likes of Ladbrokes.
If that's asking too much take less of a risk with Southampton draw no bet at 13-8 with Stan James.
Newcastle are 23-20 with BetVictor while the draw is a biggest 5-2 with the same firm. Yoan Gouffran hit a cracker in the defeat of Chelsea and is 11-4 at Coral to score but I'll be looking to side with Saints' top scorer Rickie Lambert at 9-4 with Stan James.
Recommendations
Toure to score
(4-1, Stan James)
Man City to win by one
(11-4, Skybet)
Southampton draw no bet
(13-8, Stan James)
Lambert to score
(9-4, Stan James)
Mr f
Any thoughts on the cardiff game ?
Tank, Cardiff should edge it but their defeat by Brighton in midweek worries me a bit. Wolves are slowly getting there under Dean Saunders so I’m leaving it alone.
Man city/dundee utd double today
£25 Man city, Newcastle, Swansea -1 & Celtic -1 returns £286 bt uv put me off Newcastle Mr F jst thought 6/5 was good value at home bt I take ur point they had a tough trip in midweek & soton have been doin well, so think il drop Newcastle.
Stephen, it’s all about opinion so if you feel Newcastle are value then back them. I don’t think they’ll win but I’m not always right unfortunately. Right off to boy’s football, will put up some Euro tips when I get back.
Paul, what your thoughts on Bradford and Swansea?
Matt, as Jonathan says the article was published yesterday on Swansea-Bradford.
Might do Newcastle btts instead of the win

Just gone for BTTS in both Prem games and see how that fares as to what I’ll do later.
