IT’S a huge night in Scotland with two big Scottish Cup replays and a massive relegation scrap in the Premiership.
Unfortunately due to Champions League broadcasting rules none will be shown live on TV and that’s particularly harsh for fans unable to get their hands on a Hibs v Hearts ticket.
Championship outfits Rangers and Hibs are huge favourites tonight to KO Premiership opposition. Bookies have taken their sides but I don’t think either replay will be settled with ease.
Rangers followed their 0-0 draw against Kilmarnock with a 1-1 stalemate at Alloa so head for Rugby Park’s plastic trying to improve their record on a surface they dislike.
The Ibrox men are no bigger than 4-7 with McBookie – and that’s a ridiculous price. Killie, watched by new boss Lee Clark, are a biggest 11-2 with Betfred who go draw at 7-2.
It should be close so consider Killie plus two at 6-10 with Coral and Killie to score at the same price with the same firm. I also like both to score at 4-5 with bet365.
Hibs-Hearts should be as exciting as it was first time and the Jambos could have the edge after an enforced weekend rest. The Hibees looked leggy on a difficult pitch as they drew 0-0 at Livingston.
Hearts are big at 85-40 with McBookie so you can have odds against (6-5) on Hearts draw no bet.
Alan Stubbs’s Hibs are 11-8 at McBookie and again I like both teams to score at 4-5 with bet365 Betfred.
There is a big game in the Premiership and I fancy Dundee United at 6-5 with Coral to give themselves a lifeline by beating Motherwell at home. They are 12 points behind Mark McGhee’s off-form side – one points in 18 – with a game in hand so a win puts the pressure on.
Killie to score
Both to score at Killie/Hibs
