With the summer calendar in full swing, there are another array of race cards in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Monday.
A small selection of them, offered by BoyleSports, will be providing extra places, with MFT bringing you the lowdown on those races here.
Ayr 2.00
The first offering of the day comes at the 2.00 at Ayr, a 13-horse race Class 6 race which feels more open than the prices that are on offer.
Penelope's Sister is an 11/4 favourite, helped by the yard that she hails from near this course, but while that will be a popular pick, Captain Hanley is a more attractive price at 11/2 as a progressive type.
As a 66/1 shot at Down Royal on June 21, the five-year-old finished fourth and was hampered from doing better. If she gets a clear run here, her maiden win could arrive.
Ayr 4.05
There are a number of opportunities to make a profit here with a range of horses priced between 3/1 and 8/1, the extra place potentially being worthwhile.
Superior Council is the form horse here, claiming a first and second since switching stables, but Baby Rover is one of watch at 11/1.
As a 10/1 shot, the three-year-old ran on to win over 6ft at Redcar on June 21, and appears the better bet here. However, Brave Bob finished fourth in the same race having been hampered, and is one to watch at 5/1.
Ayr 4.40
Harswell Duke and Ey Up Its Jazz, at 11/4 and 7/2 respectively, are the clear two to watch here having c0nsistently racked up top-four finishes of late.
The nod for us goes with the latter, who finished third at Carlisle on June 16 after a 219-day break. Ey Up Its Jazz made the pace on that day and slightly faltered during the closing stages, but the six-year-old can only have benefitted from that outing.
Worcester 5.30
The bookies are also making the 5.30pm at Worcester a two-horse race, Auntie Maggie and Jlow priced at 9/4 and 11/4 respectively.
Auntie Maggie, inparticular, is on a two-race winning streak, but this is the seven-year-old's first run out for over a year.
However, keep an eye on Definite Dream. Although only a fourth came on a reappearance at Warwick in June, it was over 3f longer than this race, and 7/1 feels too big here when some rivals will not be at their peak.
