The same was also true in four of the hosts' six pre-season friendly fixtures, which suggests goals at both ends could be on the cards once again.
That trend could continue when Sturm Graz take on a Hearts side that saw BTTS land in six of their final seven Scottish Premiership matches last season.

Bodo/Glimt vs HamKam (Wednesday, 18:00)
Bodo/Glimt will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Norwegian Eliteserien to seven matches when they welcome HamKam on Wednesday evening.
Kjetil Knutsen's side are just two points off top spot, but another positive result this midweek would see them head into the weekend leading the way in the Norwegian top flight.
While Bodo have been defensively solid of late, they could struggle to keep the back door shut against an attack-minded HamKam outfit.
