Borussia Dortmund v Union Berlin (Saturday 14:00)

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to continue their blistering start to 2020 when they welcome Union Berlin to the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday afternoon.

Lucien Favre's men have made a stunning start to the second-half of the season having smashed fives goals past both Augsburg and Koln respectively.

Norwegian wonderkid Erling Haalnd has weighed in with a supernatural five of those ten goals despite playing just 60 minutes of football for Dortmnd – and the Scandinavian sensation could be about to get unleashed against Union.

Indeed, the capital club will take confidence from their shock triumph in the reverse fixture back in August, however, the free-scoring Black-Yellows will be a different animal in their own backyard.

What's more, Bundesliga leaders Leipzig host third-placed Bayern Monchengladbach on Saturday evening, so something will have to give at the Red Bull Arena – and I fully expect Dortmund to capitalize.

With both Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus in menacing form, coupled with Haaland's red-hot arrival in Germany, I'm going to back Borussia to overcome a -1.50 handicap at odds of 1.700 with Bet-IBC via VOdds – a bet that will deliver profit if Dortmund win the game by two or more goals.

Burnley v Arsenal (Sunday 14:00)

Arsenal will be aiming to continue their upward progression under Mikel Arteta's stewardship when they travel to Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

The Spaniards arrival and influence appears to have given the Gunners a much-needed shot in the arm – the Londoners are unbeaten in their last six outings across all competitions.

Burnley will be brimming with confidence following back-to-back league wins over Leicester and Manchester United – two valuable victories that could go a long way to seeing Sean Dyche steer his troops to a commendable fifth successive season of top-flight football.

However, the Clarets do appear to be cursed when coming up against the red half of north London – Arsenal have landed maximum points from their last 10 league meetings with the Lancashire outfit.

A trip to Turf Moor is is often met with a sense of dread, however, the hosts have lost six of their 12 league games on home soil this season and I fancy Arsenal's improvement under Arteta to continue on Sunday.

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last eight away matches, however, I'm going to opt for an alternative angle by backing over 1.5 Arsenal goals on the asian goal line at a nicely priced 2.060 with Crown via VOdds – a bet that has clicked in Arsenal's last two road trips.

Atalanta v Genoa (Sunday 14:00)

Serie A's great entertainers Atalanta welcome joint-bottom of the table Genoa to the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia on Sunday afternoon.

Gian Peire Gasperini's goal-getters dished out a sensational seven goal trouncing to Torino last time out and the attack-minded La Dea could pick up where they left off when locking horns with a relegation threatened Red and Blues outfit.

Atalanta scored seven goals in a Serie A match for the second time this season last weekend to take their overall goal tally this term to a towering 57 strikes in 21  league outings – an awesome average of 2.7 goals per game.

The Nerazzurri lie fifth in the table and over 2.5 match goals have been scored in 11 of their 12 Italian top-flight tussles on home turf.

Indeed, Genoa picked up a priceless point away at Fiorentina last Saturday night, but Davide Nicola's strugglers will do well to avoid a drubbing when coming up against the deadliest attack in the division.

Given Atalanta attacking midfielder Josip Ilicic's irresistible form, as well as the fact that Genoa have failed to win any of their last 20 Serie A road trips, I'm going to back one of Europe's most lauded teams to overcome a -1.50 handicap at odds of 1.730 with Crown via VOdds.
