I'VE followed a fine April with a poor start to May but hoping to finish the season on a high today.
Two teams l like the look of to score 2+ goals are lnverness and Queen of the south. Inverness have a 3-1 lead after Tuesday night's win at Ayr and l don't see the Somerset Park side getting back into this tie although you never know after this week's results.
Liverpool and Spurs comebacks have been mentioned in the pre-match talks and Ayr say they'll give it a go and that will leave gaps for ICT to expose. Ladbrokes offer a decent 11-10 on the home side scoring 2+ goals.
Next up are Queen of the South at home to Montrose. I didn't expect Montrose to win on Tuesday evening but the Championship side were missing talisman Stephen Dobbie and they rarely win without him.
With home advantage and being full-time the Doonhamers should be winning this with 40-goal Dobbie back in the line-up.
Not a great price but I'm taking Ladbrokes' 4-7 on them scoring 2+ goals to make a 9-4 double.
So that's it for the season. Overall it went fairly well with a 57pts profit but I'd like to do much better and land one of those sevenfolds after hitting the bar so many times.
