McBOOKIE.COM are the only online bookie listing first-scorer tips for all SPFL games and we’ve teamed up with the Scots firm to look at some of the best bets from the lower leagues.
And if you leave your choice of first scorer as a comment at the end of this article you will have a chance to win a £10 free bet with McBookie.com. Last week's winner was Ian Conway who predicted Rory McAllister of Peterhead would score first. Email your McBookie username to [email protected] to claim your prize.
After Scottish Cup ties dominated last weekend's card it's back to league action and remember it all starts with Motherwell v Celtic on Friday. One correct entry will be picked at random to win the prize. Quote player, team, his odds and a reason if you like.
Meanwhile, here is McBookie.com’s Damian Walker with his Saturday selections.
Damian writes: Falkirk have started putting together a strong challenge for the Championship and either side of drawing away at title favourites Dundee the Bairns put four past strugglers Cowdenbeath and Livingston.
Falkirk will leapfrog third-placed Raith if they beat them on Saturday. Bairns striker Rory Loy has made a fantastic impact since joining from Carlisle in the summer and has a good chance to improve on his season tally of nine goals.
Amazingly, Loy has scored twice on four occasions in the Championship this season and is 6-1 to make it five but maybe a better option is the first goal at 9-2 with McBookie.
In League 1, Rangers have a goal difference of plus 49 but despite all those goals they don’t boast the top-scoring striker in the league. That honour rests with Michael Moffat of Ayr who has netted 13 times, two more than the leaders' Jon Daly.
Daly is 4-6 with McBookie to finish the season as the league’s top dog while Moffat is 11-4. But don’t rule out last season’s runaway striker for Queen of the South, Nicky Clark, who has just started getting among the goals for Rangers.
Clark smashed four goals past Forfar in midweek and looks to be returning to the form that saw him hit 38 goals for the Doonhammers last season. He is 14-1 with McBookie to grab a hat-trick on Saturday.
Clyde striker Stefan McCluskey is into the second year of a two-year contract with the Bully Wee having previously been top scorer with 24 goals for junior outfit Shotts Bon Accord.
McCluskey has taken his time to find his feet at the Broadwood Stadium but has scored three goals in his last six matches which have helped take Clyde to the top of League Two.
Clyde entertain division favourites Peterhead on Saturday when top play third and McCluskey is 19-10 with McBookie to score at anytime.
Staying in League 2, East Stirling’s surprise start to the season saw them climb to the top of the table when they had been hot favourites to finish bottom.
However, the Shire have taken just two points from their last four games and find themselves back down to fifth and they look to have shot their bolt.
Saturday’s visitors at Ochilview Park are Annan who suffered the double blow of losing top scorer David Hopkirk and Peter Weatherson to injury in the past couple of weeks.
Goals could now be in short supply for the Galabankies in future but midfielder Josh Todd has stepped up his scoring this season with five goals from just six starts.
Todd was on the bench on Tuesday night but is 8-1 to with McBookie to score the opening goal where obviously stakes are refunded should he fail to start.
Remember, McBookie.com are the only online bookmaker that allows you to bet on scorer markets in the Championship, League One and League Two.
Can you find a winner this weekend?

Is the key word ‘all’ games MR F? As I was on that J.Daly FGS not too long ago @ 11/4 if I remember right. bet365
cheers
Stormin, not sure what you mean re Daly.
I don’t mean to get fussy about this. I understand McBookie are the only ones that do all of them. Point I was making was I took Daly FGS with bet365 while back. So do Bet365 and other bookies just pick and choose in the scottish leagues? If so quite strange isn’t it? Bet365 have a massive market and don’t see why they wouldn’t but I don’t know could be any reason I guess
Stormin, check for yourself. They don’t price up first scorers on all SPFL games – only McBookie do. Bet365 do the Premiership and Rangers’ games as most will – if you can see first scorer prices for example on Elgin v Berwick let me know.

At 6/5 I cant look past them, your thoughts?
Joe.B, Hibs should win but they don’t score enough to make them a cert.

Dundee have a habit of conceding goals by former players.
