EDINSON CAVANI made me cry and then he made me happy.
I'd backed the PSG star to score first to wipe out my Super Single losses for November but he'd strayed offside when he netted early against Angers last night and the honour later went to Thiago Silva.
But the Uruguayan finally netted after the break and brought up my Top Treble of PSG to score 2+, St Etienne not to lose and Hearts not to lose.
So as it was in October I made a small loss on the singles and profit on the accumulators. Should be the other way round but I'm not really complaining.
On my members bets I finished 15pts up and expect to repeat that in December after going back to what I was doing well when making 35pts profit in September.

Thursday's card is fairly quiet with QPR v Wolves in the Championship as well as cup games in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Portugal.
As we saw with Arsenal last night team news is vital. Arsene Wenger out out the reserves against Southampton and paid the penalty.
I fancied Hearts to beat Rangers in Robbie Neilson's last game before he takes charge at MK Dons but kept the draw on side in case his departure had an unsettling effect.
I shouldn't have worried – Rangers were really poor and I fear for them against Aberdeen at Ibrox on Saturday. The Dons are 12-5 at Paddy Power and I'm advising a punt on Aberdeen draw no bet – even though they were poor against Celtic in the Betfred Cup Final it will take a remarkable transformation from Rangers to win this game.
Aberdeen can succeed but they haven't won at Ibrox for 25 years so let's keep the draw on side.
Having looked at today's card I'm staying away from the cup matches and risking 1pt on QPR. Spirits have been raised by Ian Holloway's arrival and a home success against Norwich while it's early days for Paul Lambert at Molineux.
He has started with a 0-0 against Preston and 2-0 defeat at home to Sheffield Wednesday. Lambert's focus is on shoring up the defence before looking for forwards in the transfer window and while I don't see QPR losing I'm happy to take them to win for 1pt.

Hi Kendohawk, The use of the points system when placing bets is to try and stop members over-stretching their budgets. 1 point for 1 member may be £1, whilst another’s may be £5 or £10 or whatever. If you have set your point value at £5 and the bet you want to place recommends a 3 units/points stake,then you would place £15 on that bet. If that bet won at odds of 3/1 then you would receive £60 back which would mean you would be £45 in profit or 9 points (£45 divided by your point value.) I hope this gives alittle help in explaining the points system!

Not a lot out there this evening but a couple of SA games later on of interest and a rare early pick for me that stands out…
