IT'S another big night at the Ally Pally and possibly the biggest game is the one between Ronnie Baxter and Ricky Evans.

Baxter is the bookies favourite but I've seen a few people tipping up Evans to win and 3-2 pays 5-1 with tournament sponsors Ladbrokes. Just to win Evans is 5-4.

There is a rare battle between the Huybrechts brothers and Kim is 2-9 at Ladbrokes to beat Ronnie 3-1.

I don't really do darts tips – the best advice I have is to stand in front of the board when I'm throwing.

So anyone in the know – and there have been some comments already – should post their thoughts here.

Barney mentioned last night that he flew in Kim Huybrects to practice with last week and he beat him twice averaging a 106 average. My money is on him tonight.

I can’t see Evens beating Baxter tonight but stranger things have happened such as Chissnal last night.

Stve Beaton and Mervin King should be winning tonight also.

Saw a few tips on here earlier and really liked the look of a Baxter win and Kim Huybrechts to win the 180’s match bet. This appeals more than Kim just to win as the odds on that are so low. A double on both is aound 5/4 – 11/8 and to me looks pretty good value.

Yeah, there’s a potential upset with Evans it seems MrF. He’s already beaten Baxter this year and been on form of late. Not a bad shout at 5/4

Here’s what Rod Harrington had to say:

“Ricky Evans is one of the players who has come through the Youth Tour and has been playing extremely well so I can see him upsetting Ronnie Baxter. He is a quicker thrower than Michael van Gerwen – probably the quickest player on the Tour – and if he gets his first dart right then he will cause all sort of problems. However he can’t give Baxter a chance or else he will take it; the youngsters can’t afford to let the old guard off when they get an opportunity. However, if Evans plays like he has done in some of the recent Tour events then an upset is on the cards.”

Id fancy Baxter to win. 7/4 with hills for Baxter, king and Kim hybrechts. That’s decent.

Another to look at is the player to hit most 180’s on the night. I’ve done well with this previous years.

Id go with Kim hybre,Ts at 5/2 and Pederson at 7/1.
Can’t see it being anyone else. Prices with paddy power

Under 26.5 180’s tonight at 56 is a cracking bet.

Evening guys, Tonight sees MVG make his bid to become world champion, when he plays the winner of the pre-lim match.

I can see all 3 favourites winning tonight, with Colin Lloyd being the one most likely to have to work the hardest. William Hill go 6/4 all 3 favs win and I will take that.

MVG is 9/4 favourite to hit most 180s tonight, but I will be taking him on. He more than likely will only drop 1 or 2 legs meaning he won’t be on stage that long. He would need to be hitting 7 maximums in 11 or 12 legs. He also switches to 19 often, I will leave him alone at the odds.

Simon Whitlock is next in the betting and he takes on Ross Smith in the last match on. Again I can see Whitlock winning in straight sets, so there maybe a lack of legs.

The one I will be on is Vincent Van Der Voort at 6/1. When he is on song he can hammer the lipstick with the best of them. He can be found wanting on his doubles, which may lead to long sets giving him more chance than the top two.

LlOYD, VAN DER VOORT & WHITLOCK WIN 6/4
VAN DER VOORT MOST 180S ON NIGHT 6/1
    WHITLOCK TO WIN 3-0 @ 5/4 HILLS

Good luck if your having a bet
