Best French Open Bets Today

Medvedev to Beat De Minaur 3-0 @ 11/4

Seeds are beginning to collide in Paris, with Daniil Medvedev and Alex de Minaur meeting in a familiar match up this Monday. The pair have played eight times previously, with Medvedev holding a commanding 6-2 lead in the head-to-head. We expect that dominance to continue here in the Roland-Garros Round of 16.

Both have had fairly similar paths to this stage of the tournament. Medvedev dropped a set early in the tournament to Dominik Koepfer, before benefiting from a second-set retirement by Miomir Kecmanovic and seeing off the dangerous Tomas Machac most recently.

De Minaur, on the other hand, moved through the first two rounds with a perfect record, before losing the opening set to Jan-Lennard Struff in his four-set win over the German.

Despite De Minaur’s success the last week, he doesn’t look nearly as comfortable on the clay as he does on hard. While Medvedev is no clay court master either, he does thrive at the back end of Grand Slams. Expect him to be too much for the Aussie, and to get through the one easily.

Sabalenka vs Navarro Over 20.5 Games @ 4/5

No. 2 seed in the women’s draw, Aryna Sabalenka, comes up against American Emma Navarro in the fourth round on Monday. The pair met recently in Indian Wells, with Navarro upsetting the Belarusian in three sets.

We expect Sabalenka to get her revenge in this match, but the contest should still be a good one. Navarro is playing the best tennis of her career this year, having collected a maiden WTA 250 title earlier in 2024 and won 30 matches already this season. Sabalenka, meanwhile, is Sabalenka–she’s made the semi-finals or better in her last six Grand Slams.

Navarro has been impressive in Paris, defeating dark horse title hope Madison Keys in two tie-break sets over the weekend. For Sabalenka, it’s been all plain sailing, seeing off Erika Andreeva, Moyuka Uchijima and Paula Badosa in straight sets.

We’re 50/50 whether this goes the distance, or ends in two competitive sets. Either way, bet the over 20.5 games line and this bet comes through.

Andreeva to Beat Gracheva 2-0 @ 4/6

Once again, Mirra Andreeva is having a brilliant Grand Slam run. The teen is just 17 years old, and yet is in her third Round of 16. We say today, she’ll qualify for her maiden Grand Slam quarter-final.

The Russian has done well to make her way through the draw so far. Her biggest win was over Victoria Azarenka in the second round, who she beat 7-5 in the fifth. Either side of that, were two routine wins in straight sets.

For Gracheva, she also sent home a seed, knocking out No 6 seed Maria Sakkari in the first round. Since then, she’s been unchallenged, seeing off Bernarda Pera and Irina-Camelia Begu in straights.

We see this one being another routine win for Andreeva. The prodigy keeps going from strength to strength, and should have far too much for Gracheva on Monday.
