ALL my tips were on the Betfred Cup on Tuesday and it was a mixed night.
The two Super Singles lost with Rangers being a goal short on the main one but my fivefold won at 16-5.
Wednesday's all about Celtic v Lincoln Red Imps as Brendan Rodgers' side try to make amends for their shock 1-0 defeat in Gibraltar last week and I've posted a separate preview.
I can't see how Celtic can fail to qualify and they should be looking to put the minnows in their place with a big win.
There is on Betfred Cup tie and one Europa League qualifier and I've studied them all before picking out my top tips.
Let's start with Celtic. Last week I lost 5pts backing them conservatively -1AH in Gibraltar only to be stunned by the result. I can't see anything but a convincing win for Rodgers' men and while there will be doubters – and quite rightly so – I'm aiming to win my 5pts back with Celtic -2 at 1-2 at Coral. That's also my challenge bet so a lot riding on it.
Ten points is usually the max I risk losing on one day but I've not been close to betting my max this month so I'm adding 1pt both to score treble on the Champions League qualifiers.
Start with Norrkoping v Rosenborg. The Norwegians won 3-1 at home in the first leg so will expect to progress on the plastic in Norrkoping. The Swedes drew 3-3 with Osterunds at the weekend and there should be more goals here.
Next it's Trencin v Olimpija. Trencin were 4-0 up after 32 minutes of the first leg but were pegged back to 4-3 so it's all to play for. Olimpija will have to attack but are likely to concede too.
Finally, take FH v Dundalk. The Irish were held 1-1 at home despite looking the better team. They must score to have a chance of going through and I believe they will but their defence is a worry.

July has been tricky since the culmination of the Euros. A lot of near misses make for a month in the red. Still, I’ll continue to contribute where I’m confident having been a long time lurker. I’ve picked out two games for tomorrow that particularly pique interest.
South Korea K-League:
Sangju Sangmu vs Suwon O2.5 Match Goals @ 3/4 (Bet365)
In their last 7 games, Sangju have managed to score two or more goals themselves all but once. On the occasion they didn’t, they travelled to an Incheon side that average just 1 goal conceded at home all season. Sangju’s prolific scoring form, though in a purple patch, has been relatively consistent at home having scored 22 goals in 9 home games. As such, I first considered taking Sangju team goals. However, Suwon themselves have seen BTTS come up in their last 8 away games and, therefore, match goals appeals.

FH VS. DUNDALK…
FH were a great price to score in the 1st leg and they reciprocated well with a 76th minute equaliser to bring a 1-1 scoreline into the second leg.
I watched FH draw 1-1 with a poor IBV side the other night and they looked tired with their usually tight defensive set-up making a few mistakes.
I note Dundalk’s game with Sligo was postponed and that means there coming in refreshed for tonight’s trip to Hafnarfjordur.

Time to win back the money I lost in the first leg. It wasn’t pretty and the bank balance took a massive hit but I’m hopeful of a decent return tonight. Just to make everyone aware that first and anytime goalscorer prices are available on the majority of the bookie websites. For some bizarre reason you’re unable to check best prices on oddschecker so it involves you having to trawl through the different sites to find the best price for what you’re looking for. If there’s anything I’m certain about its that a) Celtic will win, b) Celtic will not concede, c) Griffiths will likely score at some point in the game. With Celtic being 1/14 to win and Griffiths 1/3 to score anytime it’s hard to find any decent value. Even with the defenders I back for Celtic the odds are extremely short, however, Skybet are giving us a better opportunity to turn a profit. Griffiths is 10/11 to out score Red Imps. Considering his anytime price and the likelihood of Red Imps not scoring, I feel this represents excellent value. Even if Red Imps did score a goal there’s every chance Griffiths could get a double. I’m also going for a punt on Lustig First Goalscorer @ 20/1 and where I’d normally look to back him anytime, he’s no bigger than 4/1. Instead I’ll go with Lustig to outscore the opposition @ 8/1.

Leroy has already mentioned he’ll be on over 2.5 goals in this match and provided his reasoning – totally agree mate and will be on that also. Another market I’ll be on in this game is team goals – again, Leroy briefly mentioned it in his post…
Decent first half of the campaign for Sangmu – they’re hard to beat at the Civic Stadium and very much like scoring there too – with 22 notched in 9 matches there so far and lost only once. Bluewings are making a tough time of it this season – whether that’s to do with their participation in the AFC Champions League, I don’t know…what I do know is they concede, a fair amount. They’re joint highest conceding team in the league with 32 from 20 going in their net.
6 of Sangmu’s last 7 matches has seen them score at least twice – AND against some prolific opponents such as Seoul. 7 of Bluewings last 12 matches have seen them concede 2 goals or more and I think Sangmu have the firepower to notch twice here today…I wouldn’t be surprised with a high scoring Sangmu win or draw, so for the above reasons I’ll be on…

If you can find value in the Celtic game without needing a goal fest of first goalscorer then I praise you. Think as a bank builder, Celtic Score 1st and 1st Goal Up To And Including 30th Minute @ 2/5 @ William Hill has a chance. Probably not wise backing anything large on that.

Couldn’t find Celtic -2 on Lads FOBT but got it last night with Coral as part of betting Challenge. Wouldn’t have minded including it in today’s FOBT treble but only Match Betting and 2.5mgs 0/U available on machine. All other games were like 40, 50, 60+ markets. Same with Rangers game yesterday, machine offered like 3 or 4 bets on it, no handicap options at all. I’m not sure what gives there. Asking for handicaps at counter has lead to staff confusion in the past, so left it alone.

Well, I’ll be a son of a gun. I never knew the prices were ran by another firm. That might explain the big price difference between counter and machine when I did a BTTS 4fold some months back. Counter paid 8/1, the machine 12/1.
