SUNDAY'S card didn't thrill me but I managed to make a small profit thanks to the Top Treble winning.
The 2-1 chance came up thanks to PSG beating Metz 3-0 and earlier Sassuolo and Guingamp both won but I had them both not to lose at decent enough prices.
My Super Single was a major flop but it was just a 1pt loser. I thought Real Sociedad would give an injury-hit Real Madrid a fight but they never recovered from conceding an early Gareth Bale goal.
The both to score treble went down early when Heracles didn't net at home to Feyenoord. Heracles provided Greg's only loser but he had a decent day with two out of three winners including the nap that was Norwich to score before 54 minutes.
My golden run on the Bet of the Day for members only ended six with Bournemouth not scoring beating me – that feature will resume on Monday or Tuesday.
On Monday the opening weekend of La Liga is completed by Valencia v Las Palmas and Celta Vigo v Leganes and having studied both games I'd go with a Celta home win against a promoted side and both to score at Valencia.
Celta enjoyed a good season but are weakened by the loss of Nolito to Man City but should be good for a side who may a few weeks to find their feet in the top flight.
Valencia need a good season but will be without new boys Nani and Rodrigo. Las Palmas are tricky opponents and with both meetings finishing 1-1 last term btts could be the way to go here.
Braga started with a win at Guimaraes while Rio Ave didn't play badly but went down 3-1 at home to Porto. The last three meetings in Braga have been 5-1, 3-0 and 3-0 so a home win looks likely and for a double I'm going with Celta and Braga.
There is a full card in the goal-laden Jupiler League where most games go over 2.5 goals. It's tempting to back all in a low-stakes accumulator but usually it's beaten by one or two. I've looked at stats and instead come up with a goals treble.
Super Single and Bet of the Day will return tomorrow when we have Champions League qualifiers including Hapoel v Celtic and Legia Warsaw v Dundalk and EFL Cup ties with a rare early entrance for Chelsea at home to Bristol Rovers.
Liverpool visit Burton, Swansea are at Peterborough and Hull are at Exeter in some of the standout matches.

Our kid lives Crawshawbooth way and watched the game – said atmosphere was buzzing.
We do our best to get behind the boys. I’d happily surrender possession to the big sides if it means us picking up points (Crikey – Crazy stat) at home especially coz our away form is pretty abysmal in the top division. That was the game that Liverpool desperately needed Benteke for an aerial option, we only have small centre halfs and we have a tendency to struggle in the air against the bigger sides.

Can someone explain something to me please, thought i understood but I dont. If a Team is up 3 goals to 0 (3-0) lets say, and that team has an AH of 0,-0.5 that just means they have to win by 1 or more goal to win your bet right??
Pretty much. An asian handicap line of 0/-0.5h means that if they win by a single goal, it’s a full win. If the match results in a draw, then the 0 component (insurance) kicks in, and you get half of your stake refunded.
Sorry mar, I misread your original post. Worked a 10 hr day… knackered. Realised you meant as a live bet (not pre-match which was what my comment applied to). The same logic applies, except that the bet basically ignores the current match score. So the handicap only kicks in if “Team A” scores another goal after your live bet is placed.
So essentially they would have had to score AFTER i placed the bet. Thanks for taking the time to write that up… first time i placed an in play AH bet, usually just place before…

Let me say a couple of things.
1. We can’t pay everyone and under the current set-up we can’t have unlimited posts. However, admin are working on something that may change the latter.

In Romania Liga 1, Poli Timisoara has an awful start of their season: 4 games, 4 loses, 3-13. They also started the season with -14 points due to financial problems. They only play in Liga 1 due to the fact that Rapid Bucuresti (the team who should have played in Liga 1 this season has been relegated to Liga ).
On the other side, Universitatea Craiova is in good shape with 3 victories from 4 games (they only lost to Pandurii, who also have a very strong team, in the first game of the season). I expect an easy victory of the visitors (2 or 3-0)
In Sweden Superettan, Halmstad the team who relegated last season from Allsvenskan, is in good shape for promotion after just one season in Superettan. They are in very good form at home with 4 consecutive victories.
Varbergs comes from 4 consecutive loses and despite the fact that they are fighting for avoiding relegation, they are pretty safe right now, they are 7 points ahead Syrianska. I’ll be pretty surprise if Varbergs manage to get one point here. I expect a 1-0 or 2-0 home victory.
One interesting game in Poland Ekstraklasa between Kielce and Wisla. Kielce is in good shape with 1 victory and 1 draw at home (5-2). They lost 2-3 at Lechia Gdansk, but that is a tough ground to win and Kilece put a good performance (they could have won that game).
Wisla is terrible at the moment: last place with 4 defeats in 5 games and that’s not all. They had an ownership change a couple of weeks ago and the new owner is under investigations. With all these problems and in this situation I can only predict a home win.

Todd the coach of Esbjerg has blamed his team of being to soft and can see the players are backing their under fire manager up saying he has been positive and come with some good ideas and energy, they have a couple of players back from the OL team.
The coach wants more clean sheets, but I can not see them keeping OB out. I have read good things about Edmundson for OB he had a very good game against Nord Sjælland, creating plenty of chances for his team mates.
OB have a scored 2 or more in the last 3 away games(not to mention in their last 3 away games against Esbjerg) and although they are missing Festersen, can see them getting a couple again.
Esbjerg won’t go out without a fight mind and can score.

This league usually offers plenty of goals. The odds suggest the same thing for today’s games with odds from the lowest 1.47 to 1.62 for over 2.5 match goals. But there’s something fishy here: in the first 3 rounds, from 30 games, just 18 saw over 2.5 mg. That’s an average of 4 games/round that don’t go over 2.5.
Theoretically, from a mathematical point of view, this means that if we can spot those 4 games/round, it would offer an attractive 24 – 1.
So, let’s take a look at today’s games and what I believe could be the 4 games that won’t go over 2.5 tonight.

Two games that hold a bit of appeal for me this evening and both selections are taken from the handicap markets which always hold an element of risk so sensible stakes.
I’ve also included a more speculative punt for each game so adjust accordingly if having a go!

Valur pay a visit to Throttur who, despite being early whipping boys, have managed to reign in the size of their defeats of late!
Valur sit 6th and aren’t a bad side who are doing pretty well apart from Brondby ripping then apart in Europe. They were victorious in the most recent H2H (this campaign) with a resounding 4-1 win.
In fact, both the most recent H2Hs would have covered a -1 h/cap in Valur’s favour.
In further relation to the h/cap, 4 of Throttur’s last 6 games would be winners if you selected -1 for their respective opponents – add the fact that Throttur have conceded 2 or more goals in 80% of their last 10 games and you’ve a fairly convincing case for the selections:
