GenericFootball KickOff

IT’S the penultimate weekend of action in the Scottish Football Leagues before the play-offs and I am determined to bring in some cash for the summer holidays.

And I have the perfect motivation to pick a winning treble – if I don’t it will be a staycation at home with the missus! I'm telling you that would be worse than a week in Clydebank (sorry Mr Fixit but even you moved out).

It looks a tricky coupon in Scotland’s lower leagues but as always I have been doing my homework in a bid to bash the bookies.

I start in the Irn-Bru First Division and look in on champions Ross County and their home clash with Hamilton.

County won the league at a canter and go into this match 21 points ahead of second-placed Dundee and a massive 25 points ahead of Billy Reid’s side.

The Dingwall men are unbeaten in their last 14 matches and will look to finish their last home game of the season in style with another victory as some stars bid farewell to the club.

County have won their last three matches against Accies and I reckon it will be four in a row for Derek Adams’ champions. Take County to pick up another victory at 5-6 with BetVictor.

I move on to the Irn-Bru Third Division and focus on champions Alloa’s away trip to face Clyde at Broadwood. Paul Hartley’s men have only pride to play for in their remaining two games.

But last week they got back to winning ways with a 3-1 triumph over Stranraer after a shock
5-0 thrashing against Berwick following them clinching the title.

This weekend they face a Clyde side they have defeated 1-0 in the last two meetings between the clubs and I am tipping them to add to that success. Go for a win for Hartley’s men at a tempting 10-11 with Coral.

I finish up in the Third Division and switch our attention to Berwick’s away trip to face rock-bottom East Stirling.

Shire have been dire, losing their last five games, while Berwick are undefeated in their last five.

They are also full of confidence after thrashing Alloa 5-0 and will fancy their chances against a Shire side they are 24 points ahead of in the table and who they defeated 3-1 in their last trip to face John Coughlin's side.

Take Berwick to pick up all three points at 4-5 with BetFred.
