Rusty – nice shout mate. I hit the overs scoreline bet on there having spotted your post, and had Washington on an alternative handicap of 5.5.
At one point when they dropped way behind I nearly threw on a tenner for fun at 8/1. I really wish I had now.
NBA live betting can be lucrative if you know the teams and how they play. Money-line odds adjustments in-play can sometimes be significant, and i’ve taken home quite a bit of bacon just by sitting with the screen open and waiting for inform teams to fall 6-9+ points behind and jumped on them.
Ash, right. Though, I find it strange that you went down the alternative line only to pull it back by 1 point?! The line was a steady +4.5 all day. I usually double the plus points when I want to play it safe.

I have this weird gut feeling that Rockets are going to win this by exactly 11 points, maybe more… yeah exactly 11 points – I know ,weird shout to make but if you try to get a feel of pinpoint scores, you make better bets haha :)

Rusty – it was an in-play bet. I got to the action late and Wizards at the time were doing OK. I didn’t fancy them before the game @ +4.5, but there was no value in anything above +5.5 at the point where I decided they were worth a risk. It was just a mindless punt – plain and simple, and on this occasion it paid dividends.
The overs scoreline was a great shout though, and I made a bit of money on that so thankyou.

CLE Indians are really in need of the win. It’s one of those must-win regular season games for the Indians. STL Cardinals outweigh Mets in all fields and should take it home easily, I also recommend -1.5 RL at 6/4 for that game to the daring. As always, I’ve played my top picks deep in the run line to a yankee or trixie in this case. In NHL, DAL Stars and PIT Penguins are a better pick than CHI Blackhawks, but this is a must-win for Chicago and they’ll be rough on ice tonight. In NBA, Clippers were the favourites to win the previous game in the series, and this is a must-win for them on homestand. Here’s hoping Doc Rivers has learnt that it’s not ideal to rest Blake Griffin too soon. :)

Chris F, that’s a nice theory. When you catch stats like that, it makes for a cool ‘safe’ bet acca. to take the lowest over in the alternative market. Though, since march it was selecting the likely NHL Under 5.5 picks that was raking in profits for me. Finding the teams with a low scoring tally that looks to be a one sided affair to take the unders. I’m still buzzing over that 40 points Clippers win, but it was the MEM Grizzlies @ OKC Thunder that provided the most entertainment. What a game! Thunder did well to trail but the roughness of one of the most physical teams in the NBA, the Grizzlies, overwhelmed them in the end.
In NHL, everything went as expected and the only reason I didn’t want to rate the picks higher than 2* was that I’ve been behind on actually viewing the previous games.
In MLB, Mets played quite possibly and most unexpectedly one of the best performances of their season to shut out Cardinals who lost by 2 runs while Athletics – who are a team known to win games in the final innings – held a lead but couldn’t finish business losing by 1.
