MR FIXIT asked me to come up with a nice bet for tonight and you can't get much nicer than Nice.
They travel to Rennes in the French league aiming for three wins in a row and are as big as 5-1 with William Hill and BetVictor.
Rennes are of course hot favourites but have only won one in six and in midweek lost to third division side Quevilly in the semi-finals of the French Cup.
So their spirits will need lifted but they might find Nice nasty after back-to-back successes against Lorient, who beat leaders Montpellier last night, and St Etienne.
Backing the win could be too ambitious so look at Nice plus one at 23-20 with Stan James. It kicks off at 8pm.
In Spain, Getafe entertain Sevilla (8pm) and hopefully it will be as tasty as the visitors' oranges.
Sevilla have won four out of five and are 7-4 with Coral to pick up the win but Getafe have taken maximum points from their last three home games against Sporting, Valencia and Real Sociedad so it's no banker.
If pushed I'd side with Sevilla but a better bet could be Alvaro Negredo to score at any time. He is 19-10 at unibet and has hit four in four games.
Looking at other games on the card I'll be on leaders Shamrock Rovers at 8-13 with Betfred home to Derry City (7.45pm) in the Irish League, Helsinborg (4-7, various) should beat GAIS (6pm) in Sweden and Slovan Liberec (5-6, various) can win at Banik Ostrava (6pm).

Dave, I noticed Scott tipped Nice +1 at Rennes and I’ve backed that. I had a look at some sites after that and any tips I saw were for 1-0 Rennes. But Nice’s current form suggests they’ll score and maybe take something from the game.
Rennes first team squad have all gone on a ‘team-building’ holiday, their second squad are away on tour so playing tonight, will be the remaining ground staff and the first five spectators to turn up.
Paul quick one, interested in knowing about perming bets as like u say u hit the bar usually with the btts. If I perm any 5 and all 6 how much would this cost? Assuming I usually put 2quid on it?? Is it 6x2quid? Are the returns good?? Or is it just enough to cover ur bet… Cheers!!
Matt, how much you win depends on the odds. For example if you pick six teams at 2-1 and five win your return is 31-1. However, to cover 5 from 6 and all six is seven bets. If you’re staking £2 that would be 7 bets at roughly 30p so about a tenner back if one wrong. Perms should always be used when odds are big, for example on first scorers multiples and draws, or if you are happy for a small return with one wrong. Punters such as Chris Guy are not interested in perms because they want to hit the big ones. It’s down to individual preference.
