LAST night it was Super Saturday in the athletics at Rio and now it's the first Super Sunday of the season in the Premier League.

Hull apart it was a fairly dull introduction to the campaign but with Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool in action there should be plenty of thrills and spills today.

First up it's Bournemouth v Manchester United but we won't be seeing Paul Pogba as he's suspended as he serves a ban from last season's Italian Cup.

Chris Smalling is also out but new boys Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will all start.

United seriously tempt at 17-20 with William Hill but of course victory is not a given. Bournemouth beat the Reds 2-1 at home last season but struggled towards the end of the campaign.

They conceded nearly two goals a game in front of their own fans so consider United to score over 1.5 goals at 21-20 with William Hill.

Ibrahimovic's goal allowed Jose Mourinho to collect silverware last week in the Community Shield and I'd imagine millions will be wagered on the Swedish superstar to score at 13-10 with Ladbrokes. To break the deadlock he is a biggest 41-10 at Marathonbet.

Arsenal fans aren't happy at the usual lack of transfer activity at the Emirates with Granit Xhaka the only major signing.

After a decent Euros Olivier Giroud isn't ready to start and Arsene Wenger will also be without injured defenders Per Mertesacker and Gabriel so Rob Holding could be alongside Callum Chambers in the middle of the back four.

Olivier Giroud remains as the number one striker for the Gunners but he isn't ready to start the new campaign and that means that either Theo Walcott or Alexis Sanchez will lead the line on Sunday. Mesut Ozil is also out so the home side will be majorly weakened and I don't see Liverpool losing.

Mesut Ozil is another key player who still isn't ready following the Euros but new signing, Granit Xhaka, will likely get a place in the starting XI.

Jurgen Klopp has his big signings ready to go – Ragnar Klavan, Joel Matip, Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum – and with both defences untested it could be a game for goals with over 2.5 paying 23-20 at Coral.

To win Liverpool are 2-1 at William Hill but they've lost on their last three visits to Arsenal. For me the bet to have is Liverpool draw no bet at 23-20 with William Hill or to score 2+ at 6-4 with William Hill and McBookie.

The more I look at those teams the more I think both will score. But we’ll see how Mourinho plays it.
