Win £1,000 in 12 Plays of Christmas: Day 11

DESPITE a tough round of fixtures results largely went the way members wanted on Day 10 of my 12 Plays of Christmas competition.

Two members maintained their perfect run of form meaning we'll definitely go to Day 12. Exciting doesn't begin to describe it!

Day 10 Round-Up

Only one person dropped out of the competition on Day 10 but @goliath can take comfort in the £90 worth of free bets won at Skybet during the contest.

@sean567 was the only other member to pick a loser but he'll stay in the competition if he uses his Second Chance card on Day 11.

Amazingly each of the five other remaining members picked five different winning results, the most impressive being @andrewklcc's 3/1 winner, Leeds, which could be significant in the final reckoning as I'll explain below. @andrewklcc's ballsy pick wins him a £100 free bet at Skybet to add to the £30 he won earlier in the competition. Admin will be in touch at the end of the competition with details of your free bets.

Current Standings

Remember, if there’s more than one ‘last man standing’ at the end of Day 12 then the winner will be determined, firstly by those who haven’t played their Second Chance card, then if there’s still a tie by the highest accumulated odds across all 12 day’s selections so the odds of the winners you pick could be crucial in the final reckoning. Rules were posted here.

With just two days to go @greaves is in pole position. Alongside @hellobad he's managed 10 out of 10 winners but he has a significantly better return for the results he's picked. Had he started with £1 he'd now be on £170.69 versus @hellobad's £73.87. That could be significant if both men are still in the competition having not used their Second Chance card by the end of Day 12.

Waiting for them both to slip up are the remaining four of the final six. By virtue of some big-priced winners @andrewklcc actually has a higher accumulated return than @greaves at this stage but of course his mythical total relies on a skipped bet when he used his Second Chance card.

Day 11

Another tough day lies ahead so you'll need to pick carefully. Four of the five matches are in the UK so finding some form to go on should be a little bit easier.

Here are the 5 fixtures from which you must select ONE home win, away win or draw. Your entry must be in by kick-off in your team’s match and you must be a Silver or Gold Member to take part.

Today’s Daily Prize is the last one but is a whopping £150 free bet with Skybet! It’ll go to the person who picks the biggest winner – if there is more than one a random draw will be made. This is only available to those still in the competition.

Note

Please note that you can only play your Second Chance card ONCE. If you miss a day you are deemed to have picked a losing selection and are not entitled to play the next day unless you still have your Second Chance card to play.
