Win £1,000 in 12 Plays of Christmas: Day 7

THE only thing predictable about the Premier League this season is its unpredictability! Despite good runs of form both Spurs and Liverpool let down many lines and put paid to several members' chances in 12 Plays of Christmas.

Numbers are dwindling and from over 200 members that took part across Day 1 & 2 we're now down to just 19.

Day 6 Round-Up

As well as Spurs and Liverpool, Gary Neville's Valencia also tripped a few up. They scraped a draw at Eibar and it's just as well I didn't include Real Madrid as one of Sunday's fixtures after Rafa Benitez's men fell to a shock defeat at Villarreal.

So it was only Arsenal and Celtic who were backed to win that delivered. It leaves us with 19 players in our search for the last man standing. Five of those have a perfect score of 6/6, so well done to @greaves,  @hellobad, @duraden, @sean567 and @andrewklcc – that's pretty good going at this stage.

A further 14 have either used their ‘Second Chance' card or will need to use it on Day 7 to stay in the game.

Newcastle were the biggest winners on the day at 17/2. Unsurprisingly no one opted for the Toon although @jimron12 did say he fancied their chances.

That meant that Arsenal were the biggest-priced winners chosen. They were popular with 11 members and I've picked @andrewklcc as the winner of the Daily Prize, a £30 free bet at Skybet. Admin will be in touch at the end of the competition with details.

Day 7

The most difficult thing about Day 7 is finding 5 fixtures for the competition. There are three live matches on TV so I've included those plus I've added a couple that will test your knowledge of the lower leagues in France and Germany.

Here are the 5 fixtures from which you must select ONE home win, away win or draw. Your entry must be in by kick-off in your team’s match and you must be a Silver or Gold Member to take part.

Today there is a £40 free bet with Skybet to the person who records the biggest winner – if there is more than one a random draw will be made. This is only available to those still in the competition.

Note

Please note that you can only play your Second Chance card ONCE. If you miss a day you are deemed to have picked a losing selection and are not entitled to play the next day unless you still have your Second Chance card to play.
