ONE reason for starting the forum was to free up the main site for daily tips and that's worked to a certain extent.
Some people are using the forum for the way it was intended and far and away the most popular subject has been on betting challenges.
Dozens of members are involved and it's good to see. My Bet of the Day has turned into a £10 to £100 Challenge by popular demand with one win out of two attempts.
I've managed to persuade Greg to get involved but at the first attempt neither of is made it – Chelsea beating him and Liverpool me.

desmond, in the good old days when I worked in Clydebank we got a 3-course lunch at the Atlantis for £1 – so maybe that will do. It was £2 if you added a pint.

Challenge of my own starting today:
Day 1: £20 on a short priced double:
Sparta Rotterdam v Volendam – Sparta DNB @ 2/7
1st v 2nd in this one with Sparta only 3 points ahead but Sparta have been almost invincible at home winning their last 7 in a row and winning 10 out of their last 12 at home with the other 2 being Draws.
Nurnberg v Paderborn – Over 1.5 MGls @ 2/9
Both teams should score here but for a bank building challenge I’ll play it safe with Over 1.5 goals this has come up in each of Paderborns last 8 games, with both teams scoring in 6 of those. The home side Nurnberg have been in good goalscoring form of late scoring 4, 2, 3, 0, and 5 in their last 5 matches, they’ve also conceded 5 in those matches.
