It's quarter-final time in the EFL Cup and it's hard to see crisis club Southampton springing a shock against Liverpool.
Boss Russell Martin was axed on Sunday night after his rock-bottom side crashed to a 5-0 defeat at home to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Spurs were a team in dismal form heading into that clash yet scored five times in the first half so Saints fans must be wearing the worst as they now take on the Premier League and Champions League leaders.
Southampton vs Liverpool top betting tips
Southampton can take a little heart from the fact they played quite well at home to Liverpool in the league, with Arne Slot's side having to dig deep for a 3-2 win.
But with morale so low after that weekend savaging, this should be a more comfortable victory for the Anfield giants.
BoyleSports make Liverpool their 4/9 hot favourites but the same firm have a boosted 11/4 on the Reds winning both halves and that looks decent.
I'd imagine Slot will freshen his side up a bit after Saturday's draining draw with Fulham, when they played for most of the game with 10 men.
Harvey Elliott could be one of those who gets a start and the winger is a tempting 3/1 at BoyleSports to score.
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace top betting tips
Arsenal couldn't break down a dogged Everton side at the Etihad on Saturday and could find Crystal Palace a tough nut to crack too in the EFL Cup tonight.
It's now just one defeat in nine for the Eagles and they looked pretty slick in Sunday's 3-1 win at bitter rivals Brighton.
They have the pace to hit on the counter so I think BTTS might stand a chance tonight at 20/21 with BoyleSports.
Corners are another good option too as both teams are strong from set-pieces. Over 10.5 flag kicks pays 21/20 and that looks decent value.
Newcastle United v Brentford top betting tips
The game of the night could come at St James' Park as Newcastle take on a dangerous Brentford side.
The Magpies have been strong in this tournament in the last couple of years, reaching the final two seasons ago before an unlucky last-eight loss at Chelsea last term.
BoyleSports make Eddie Howe's men 8/15 favourites and that's understandable given Brentford's poor away form.
But Thomas Frank's side should have a go so I fancy goals at both ends tonight. BTTS only pays 11/20 but combining that with no draw boosts the odds to 6/5.
Anthony Gordon will be a key man for the Magpies and the winger is 7/4 for anytime scorer.

Arsenal v Palace
Palace double chance at 2/1 (NAP)
Newcastle v Brentford
Brentford double chance at 11/8
I can see both these games going to penalties, Arsenal are bound to change their usual starting line up and as we all know they aren’t the same team when they make changes so 2/1 on Palace to get at least a draw looks a sensible play. Thomas Frank has stated he will play his first team against Newcastle so should give Newcastle a game, Newcastle will obviously go strong as they look to win a trophy so should be a good game. Also having a wager on each team to win on pens..
Best of luck
