Monday's top football

Scotland have sparked their Nations League campaign into life in the last couple of games and head into tonight's clash in Poland with an outside chance of reaching the quarter-finals.

For the Scots to jump above both the Poles and Croatia to pinch second spot they will need to win in Warsaw and hope group leaders Portugal do them a favour in Zagreb, with a three-goal swing also thrown in.

It's a tall order but Steve Clarke's side will fancy their chances of keeping up their end of the bargain against a Polish side coming off the back of a 5-1 battering by Portugal on Friday night.

Poland vs Scotland top betting tips

With Scotland winning just two of their last 17 matches it's no great surprise to see them as Betano's 85/40 outsiders, with Poland the 11/10 favourites.

Michal Probierz's side also won 3-2 at Hampden in the group opener, although they were gifted a penalty winner at the death after the Scots had come from 2-0 down to level.

Nicola Zalewski was the main who hit that winning spot-kick and it capped an impressive display from the Roma star. Bet365 price him at 9/4 just to have an effort on target tonight and that looks great value.

We saw 13 corners as the Scots beat Croatia on Friday and I fancy a few more tonight with both teams going for it. Over 10.5 flag kicks pays 6/5 at Unibet while the same firm price over 5.5 Polish corners at 11/10.

Croatia vs Portugal top betting tips

Scotland need a favour from Portugal in the other group game but Roberto Martinez has revealed he will be resting most of his big guns.

The good news is that the Portuguese still have plenty in reserve but it's still a tall order to beat the Croats in Zagreb with a weakened team.

Going for goals at both ends looks the best option here, with BTTS and over 2.5 goals coming up in three of Portugal's four games so far in the group.

Combining those bets pays 6/5 tonight at Bet365 while a goal inside the first 30 minutes also appeals at 20/23 with Betano.

Chelsea's Joao Felix is one of those who could come in for Portugal and he's 11/4 with Bet365 for anytime scorer

Serbia vs Denmark top betting tips

The clash between Serbia and Denmark could be a cracker as Dragan Stojkovic's side look to jump above their opponents in Group A4 with a win.

A Nations League quarter-final slot is up for grabs so it should be a tense and tight game. Denmark are missing experienced duo Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joachim Andersen due to suspension so the Serbs look decent value at 6/4 with Betano.

It should still be a close game and that makes the half-time draw a decent option at evens with Bet365, while McBookie price a one-goal winning margin for either side at 6/5.

In such a hostile atmosphere we could see some mistimed tackles and Bet365 price a penalty being awarded at a decent 2/1.

Monday's Football Tips: Super singles

  • Nicola Zalewski over 0.5 shots on target 9/4 Bet365
  • Serbia to win 6/5 Betano
  • BTTS and over 2.5 goals in Croatia v Portugal 6/5 Bet365
