A place in the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals is on the line as Serbia look to jump above Denmark with a win at home in what should be a cracking finale to Group A4.
The Serbs kept their hopes alive on Friday night when Aleksa Terzic grabbed a late leveller in Switzerland, a goal that relegated the Swiss to the second tier.
On the same night, Denmark were losing 2-1 at home to Spain, a result that brought up a 13/5 bet for our man Lee. The loss was far from fatal as the Danes remain in second place, two points ahead of Serbia.
But there's no room for comfort though and Brian Riemer's men must now brave a fiery atmosphere in Leskova as they look to secure the point that will see them finish as runners-up to rampant Spain.
How the bookies view it: Very little in it
This is a tough one to call and it's reflected in the odds. Betano make Serbia slight favourites with home advantage at 31/20 while the Danes are 13/8 shots. The draw will be popular and that pays 21/10.
Head to head: Serbs out to end the jinx
Serbia have a terrible record against Denmark, losing four of the five meetings and drawing the other. This is their third clash this year alone, with a 0-0 snorefest at the Euro 2024 finals in Germany followed by a 2-0 Copenhagen win for the Danes earlier in this Nations League group.
There has only been one game in Serbia between these sides and it ended in a 3-1 win for Denmark back in 2014.
Players to watch: Dusan's the man
Dusan Vlahovic was a big miss for the Serbs in the last round of international games and his return is a welcome boost. The Juventus forward is always a threat and he's a tempting 3/1 with Bet365 for anytime scorer.
Rasmus Hojland hasn't really got up and running for Manchester United this season but heads into this game after a decent run of games. The striker is 12/5 with Bet365 for an international goal that spark his season back into life.
Probable line-ups
Experienced duo Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joachim Andersen miss out for Denmark after yellow cards in midweek took them over a suspension threshold. Manager Riemer might make a couple of other changed to freshen things up after a tough game against Spain.
Serbia have Strahinja Pavlovic and Strahinja Erakovic back from the bans that kept them out against the Swiss. Boss Dragan Stojkovic should play both Vlahovic and Alexander Mitrovic as they go all out for the win.
Serbia: Petrovic; Erakovic, Milenkovic, Pavlovic; Nedeljkovic, Maksimovic, Grujic, Terzic, Samardzic, Vlahovic, Mitrovic
Denmark: Schmeichel, Bah, Vestergaard, Nelsson, Bah, Hjulmand, Norgaard, Dorgu, Eriksen, Hojlund, Gronbaek
Anything else catch the eye?
There wasn't much in the way of action when these sides faced off at the Euros last summer so I'd be surprised if this game was a thriller. The bookies agree as under 2.5 goals pays just 4/6 with Beatano but betting against BTTS is a little better at 20/23.
The half-time draw is another good option in a game that should be tight and it pays a decent evens with Betano.
With second place on the line it could be a bit fiery so going for a high number of booking points could pay off once that market is priced up.
