Juventus are still trying to find their rhythm as they host local rivals Torino in the Turin derby on Saturday. Neither team is playing close to their best at the moment but Juventus have dominated this fixture in recent times and should have the edge here.
It has been a strange season for Juventus, who are playing well below their best, although they remain unbeaten in Serie A so far. The major problem has been the plague of draws as they have been held three times in the last four matches across all competitions, including a 1-1 Champions League scoreline at Lille on Tuesday.
Another interesting thing about Juventus this season is that they appear to play better on their travels having claimed three wins in their last five Serie A away matches. Thiago Motta’s men claimed a 2-0 victory at Monza last time out and will be keen to carry that form into their home matches.
Torino had made a solid start to the season and went unbeaten in their opening six fixtures across all competitions. However, Paolo Vanoli’s men appear to have lost their way in recent weeks, losing seven of their last eight matches and failing to score in the last two fixtures.
