Bayern Munich will look to return to the top of the Bundesliga table as they travel to the Ruhrstadion to take on bottom club Bochum in a fixture that I’m expecting the visitors to run riot.
Bayern made headlines in their opening match of the new league phase of the Champions League as they thrashed perennial Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb 9-2, but Vincent Kompany’s men then lost 1-0 at Villa Park before being thumped 4-1 at Barça.
Domestically, Bayern remain unbeaten (W5-D2-L0) and bounced back from consecutive draw at home to reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen (1-1) and away at Eintracht Frankfurt (3-3) by thrashing Stuttgart 4-0.
It’s been a miserable start to the campaign for Bochum, as they sit at the foot of the Bundesliga table, having picked up a solitary point from their opening seven matches (W0-D1-L6), with that coming against the side directly above them in the table, fellow winless side Holstein Kiel.
Last weekend's 3-1 defeat away at fellow strugglers Hoffenheim was the end for Ex-Bochum manager Peter Zeidler, with Die Blauen promoting coaches Markus Feldhoff
and Murat Ural on an interim basis.

Bayern have slammed in a league-high 24 goals across their opening seven Bundesliga contests this campaign, with 17 (71%) of them coming on their travels.
FC Hollywood have scored three or more goals in all four (100%) of their away matches in the Bundesliga – remarkably scoring five at Werder Bremen and six at Holstein Kiel – and I’m expecting the record-champions to emphatically bounce back from their heavy loss in Catalonia in midweek against a Bochum backline that is yet to record a clean sheet across their opening seven Bundesliga matches, shipping 17 goals.
