Tennis Prediction and Betting Tips 2024

After plenty of WTA tips this week, we have some ATP tennis this Saturday as well in the form of the Davis Cup. We’ll take a closer look at the matchup between Germany and the US, as it’s a hugely important one because the winner secures a seeding spot in Malaga.

We’ll also take a look at the WTA event in Monastir, where two unlikely players will face off for a spot in the final. Both will be gunning to win that one, and we’ve got some great betting tips on today’s tennis.

We chose these tips because they provide great value and great odds. So, let’s see why we’re backing the US and Lucia Bronzetti to win her semi-final.

Bronzetti to beat Sramkova @ 3/5

This match is a semi-final, so the winner of it will advance to the final. Neither player competes in finals often, so this is a brilliant chance to secure a shot at a trophy. Both have performed well this week, but in this spot, we prefer Lucia simply because she has more experience and is generally a very tough fighter.

What makes Bronzetti a solid pick is her experience. She’s played pretty well this year but endured some tough draws, such as facing Coco Gauff at Roland-Garros and Aryna Sabalenka at the US Open. Rebecca Sramkova is actually the older player, but she doesn’t have that recent experience of playing against some of the best.

In this spot, with a final on the line, we like Bronzetti to tap into that experience and find something new. She’s also generally a very strong fighter, never giving up on rallies.

With the way the ball bounces in Monastir and the very hot conditions, we think the Italian might do better here. Sramkova is an aggressive baseliner, but being forced to hit as many balls as she will in this match spells more trouble than anything for her.

Back Bronzetti to secure the final.

USA to beat Germany @ 11/20

Both of these teams have secured their place in the Davis Cup knockout stages, which will be played in November in Malaga. Both won their previous matches in Zhuhai, so how does this one matter?

It matters greatly because the team that wins this one will ensure they’re a seed in Malaga, which means they’ll get an easier opponent in the quarter-finals. That’s a huge thing, and you can be assured that both will be gunning to win this one.

Neither has their strongest players here. The USA brought Brandon Nakashima, Reilly Opelka, and Mackenzie McDonald for the singles, and Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram for the doubles.

The Germans have Yannick Hanfmann and Maximilian Marterer for the singles, and Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz for the doubles. It shouldn’t be a huge problem for the US team to win this one.

Zhuhai plays way better for them than for the Germans, and while Puetz and Krawietz might extend their great form lately with a win in the doubles, we don’t see the USA losing either singles match.

Nakashima has looked amazing in the past month, and both McDonald and Opelka should have an easy time against Marterer.
