Following on from Thursday’s winner in Belo Horizonte, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head back to the Brazilian top flight, and I’ve highlighted one team in particular that appeals to me to collect all three points.

Sixth-placed Cruzeiro will look to keep pace with the sides above them in the Brazilian Serie A table as they welcome away-day strugglers Red Bull Bragantino to the Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto on Saturday night in a fixture that I’m keen to back the hosts to maintain their 100% home record.
Cruzeiro heads into this clash off the back of back-to-back wins for just the second time this campaign, as they followed up their 3-0 home success over Corinthians by winning 0-2 away at second-from-bottom Gremio last night.
That result last time out was just the second time Cruzeiro have won away home in the league this season (W2-D2-L5), with Fernando Seabra’s men doing most of their best work at home, as they boast a 100% record from their opening six league encounters on home soil (W6-D0-L0).
Red Bull Bragantino’s woes on their travels continued last time out as they fell to a 2-0 defeat away at fifth-placed São Paulo.
Whilst RB Bragantino have won five of their opening seven Serie A contests on home soil (W5-D1-L1), Ex-Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has seen his side pick up just one win across their opening eight road trips (W1-D3-L4), with five of their six points coming against teams positioned in 16th and below.

As already alluded to, Cruzeiro still boasts a 100% record at home in the Brazilian top flight, winning all six (W6-D0-L0) of their league contests in front of their supporters – outscoring their opponents by an aggregate score of 15-4 – and I’m backing The Raposa to maintain their perfect home record against an RB Bragantino side that has already lost away at Palmeiras (first), Botafogo (second), Bahia (fourth) and São Paulo (fifth).
