The Toffees star was hot property as a kid, but injuries have stopped him from making the step up. He has won just 11 senior caps, and a few fans shed a tear when he failed to make Gareth Southgate's squad for Euro 2024.

Chelsea
You can always rely on Chelsea for a bit of drama in the transfer window and their shopping may not be over, despite splashing out on Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
There's also talk of a swap deal involving Raheem Sterling and Manchester United's Jadon Sancho, but the Blues still look short of options at centre-forward.
The Blues were another team crying out for a recognised striker last season, with Nicolas Jackson the only real option due to Christopher Nkuknku's injuries.
And SkyBet have now made them heavy favourites for Calvert-Lewin at just 6/4.
Newcastle United
The Magpies had led the betting for Calvert-Lewin's next club but they are now 10/1 outsiders with most firms, although BetVictor still have them at evens.
A move to St James' Park does make sense as they currently only have Alexander Isaak as a recognised centre-forward with Callum Wilson out injured.
Newcastle have made signing Crystal Palace defender Mark Guehi their top priority, but Calvert-Lewin would be a relatively low-cost option up front, given he's in the last year of his deal.
Manchester United
The Red Devils desperately needed a centre-forward this summer and the lack of options up front was one of the reasons why they could only finish eighth in the Premier League last term.
Young Dane Rasmus Hojlund had to shoulder the burden alone, but Joshua Zirkzee has now arrived from Bologna and looks like a decent signing.
You still get the feeling Erik ten Hag needs another centre-forward though, with Zirkee describing himself as a “nine-and-a-half”. Calvert-Lewin could fit the bill, and United are 16/1 in the betting.
Arsenal
The Gunners now find themselves joint-third favourites with Manchester United at 16/1 in the betting for Calvert-Lewin's next club. That's because Mikel Arteta has yet to sign a striker and that position looks like being a potential weakness.
With Eddie Nketiah close to sealing a move to Crystal Palace, Arteta may view the Everton man as a good addition.
