Following on from last night’s winner in the states, Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Swedish top flight, and I’ve highlighted one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Two clubs separated only by goal difference in the Swedish Allsvenskan table meet at the Bravida Arena on Sunday afternoon as 7th-placed Häcken plays host to 8th-placed AIK in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Pål Arne Johansen’s hosts have scored 20 goals across their opening 12 matches in the Allsvenskan this term, with 12 (60%) of them coming on home soil.
The wasps have made the net bulge in each of their previous five league outings in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in four (80%) of them – and will be confident of getting on the scoresheet against an AIK defence that is without a clean sheet on their travels this season, shipping 16 goals across their opening five road trips.
Ex-Blackburn, Manchester United and Rangers defender Henning Berg has seen his side score 22 goals across their opening 11 matches in the Swedish top flight this term, with five (23%) of them coming across their five road trips.
The capital club have only failed to score at runaway league leaders Malmö – scoring on multiple occasions in five (45%) of them – and will look to get on the scoresheet once again against a Häcken backline that has registered just two shutouts in the league this season, shipping multiple goals in seven (58%) of them.

Häcken’s opening 12 Allsvenskan fixtures this campaign are averaging 3.42 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in 10 of their previous 11, with four (36%) of them producing four or more goals, including three of their last five in front of their supporters.
AIK’s opening 11 contests in the Swedish top flight this term are averaging a league-high 4.10 goals per game, with Over 2.5 paying out in each of their last six, with five (83%) of those matches in that run featuring four or more goals.
Therefore, I’m happy to back the Over 3.0 Asian goal. This would mean if there are exactly three goals scored, we will receive our stake back, whilst four or more strikes will reward a full payout.
