With 24 teams qualifying for the European Championship finals, there's a gap in genuine quality between many of the sides.
Some of the nations taking part in Germany this summer are long shots to make it to the knockout stages, with Georgia qualifying for the first time and Albania pitched into a group of death alongside Spain, Italy and Croatia.
While all of the groups should be keenly contested, there will be a few games where one of the teams should win quite comfortably. At such times, the Euro 2024 2up and win market will be very attractive.
Why the Euro 2024 2up and win market is worth exploring
In a 2up and win bet, the bookie will pay out on your bet if the team you've backed goes 2-0 ahead in the match. They're unlikely to offer decent odds when a big hitter is up against a minnow but matches between teams more evenly matched could provide some value.
And with the tournament starting next week, we've made our first batch of picks for the Euro 2024 2up and win market.
Spain v Croatia
The Croatians have reached a final and a semi-final in the last two World Cups, but they are an ageing squad now and didn't impress in qualifying, finishing second behind Turkey in Group D.
Spain, by contrast, have some vibrant young talent and looked pretty slick in the qualifiers, after the shock of losing 2-0 to Scotland at Hampden Park.
Luis De La Fuente's side took a 2-0 lead in five of their eight games in Group A and will be out to make a statement of intent when they face the Croatians in their opener at the finals.

Belgium v Slovakia
Belgium are another team with an older squad of stars, but their own golden generation looks more likely to have a last hurrah at the Euros than Croatia.
For starters, they have a much easier group and should top a section that also includes Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine.
First up is a clash against the Slovaks, and Domenico Tedesco's side will look to make a flying start. Belgium took a 2-0 lead in five of their eight qualifiers, so they could provide a bit of value in this market for all their group games at the finals.
Portugal v Czech Republic
Nobody qualified for Euro 2024 in finer style than Portugal, as they won all 10 qualifiers and smashed home 36 goals in the process.
The Portuguese look a good bet in the 2up and win market for most of their group games at the finals, given they're up against the Czech Republic, Georgia and Turkey.
But the odds will probably be tiny when they take on debutants Georgia, so it's better going for their opener against the Czechs if delving into 2up and win betting.
These sides last faced off in the Nations League two years ago and Portugal went 2-0 up in both games, winning 4-0 in Prague after a 2-0 triumph on home soil.
Germany v Hungary
Home advantage could help hosts Germany go a long way at the finals, and the arrival of Julian Nagelsmann as boss seems to have given them a timely shot in the arm.
He always sets out to attack, so the Germans look like another go-to team in this market. I'd suspect their odds will be pretty short in the opener against Scotland, so it represents better value going for the second game against Hungary.
The Hungarians are unbeaten in their last two games against Germany, but facing them in the Euros is a different proposition, and Nagelsmann's side could be flying if they beat the Scots in their opener.
