PLENTY of Premiership sides have come a cropper in the League Cup group stage but Kilmarnock and Ross County haven’t put a foot wrong so far.
They both have 100 per cent records and a third successive win tonight would more or less seal their places in the knockout stage.
Derek McInnes is starting to put his mark on the Killie squad, with the Rugby Park side winning 3-0 at home to Annan then 2-0 at Dunfermline.
They now host Raith Rovers and McBookie make Killie 1/2 hot favourites, with the Championship side 17/4 and the draw paying 16/5.
McInnes always has his team well drilled defensively so it could pay to bet against BTTS (20/21, McBookie) while another win to nil pays 9/5 at Coral.
Ross County romped to a 5-1 win in their opener at Stranraer but had to come from behind late on to beat Morton 2-1 on Saturday.
They now travel to FC Edinburgh, who have lost both their games, and the Staggies are 2/5 favourites.
Simon Murray has four goals to his name already and McBookie price the in-form striker at 11/10 for anytime scorer.
Dundee still have some work to do to reach the knockout stage after a late Airdrie penalty condemned them to a 1-0 loss on Saturday.
Dumbarton visit Dens Park tonight as I’m backing a home win to nil (11/8, Coral) with the Dark Blues looking solid at the back under Tony Docherty.
Peterhead host Spartans in the other League Cup tie tonight and it’s a tricky one to call.
The best bet here could be under 2.5 goals and that pays 20/21 with McBookie.
There’s plenty of Champions League qualifiers for punters to sink their teeth into and the standout game sees Maccabi Haifa travel to Sheriff Tiraspol.
Both sides have graced the group stage in recent seasons and I fancy BTTS in this one at evens with Coral.
In the women’s World Cup, Ireland will bid to bounce back from their narrow defeat by hosts Australia when they take on Canada.
Canada drew 0-0 with Nigeria in their opener and I fancy them for a win to nil today at 7/5 (Coral).
Super Singles
- Dundee win to nil (11/8, Coral).
- BTTS in Sheriff v Haifa (evs, Bet365).

Cove rangers v livingstone in the league Cup. Cove have been in fine form in front of goal the last 2 league Cup games scoring 8 in total. 9-4 for 2+ goals with skybet is my play.
O.5 points @ 9-4 2+goals Cove rangers

Small punt on the Carlise game tonight. Carlisle win and BTTS 21-10 0.5 points

Very poor form on the football in the last 2 days really sorry if anyone has followed. Will just be another horse racing bet today. Will be another large stake. Will post on thst thread shortly.
Pot: ➕16 point profit still 💰
Racing selection has been posted incase anyone was interested. Fairly short at 8-11 but it should be really be about 4-9 so there is a good bet to be had there. Good luck to everyone having any bets today.
No one ever needs to apologise for tips on here mate. As long as your putting up good pointers it’s appreciated…and good job not reacting to the daft comments…setting a good example for us all on here..kudos
It’s fine, the guy is just having a laugh as far as I’m concerned. I’d rather he jokes on with me than MJT like he was last week non stop
🇫🇮 Jazz v Honka II 🇫🇮
-Over 2.5 Match Goals
🇮🇸 Stjarnan v Fram 🇮🇸
-Over 9 Match Corners
▪️Double (1.2/1, bet365)
I don’t think Olympiacos is ready for tonight’s game and both a Rangers win and over 2.5 goals look appealing.
Did anyone watch Rangers against Newcastle and Hamburg? How were they?
StuPaul, since you seem to be one and the same, I genuinely hope the pony works out for ya, 48 pts down at £25 a point would be a nasty two days 🙏
There was some confidence on this thread behind Zambia goals in their last game albeit they didn’t materialise.. the Spanish women seem to dominate possession like their male counterparts, and are 2-0 up at HT, but it’s 💩 or get off the pot for the Zambians.. I’m sure Spain have one or two more in them but hoping Zambia can nick one along the way
A few euro on Spain win BTTS at 9/2
Fitzy i was debating before the game to have a little bet on zambia 2+ team corners at 5/4 i didn’t in the end take the bet and sure enough zambia got the 2 corner in before half time lol
That goals v corners dichotomy is the bain of my existence alright!
5-0 FT, not to be
sames had bet 3 corners both halves had 4 in the second half but only 2 in the first
at work, looking at lion city sailors v spurs
havent checked the odds yet
so maybe an over 3/4/ goals bet
about 20 goals in the last 5 matches
odds for this rubbish
under 5 goals
whills 5/2
just a work bet
Thanks but honestly it’s fine . The comments have just been funny if anything. Like I’ve said above, as long as he stays off MJT I’m happy to take the flack. Honestly best to just stay silent. He could call my wife and kids if he wants, it wouldn’t mean a thing.
Morning all,
Dundee o1.5tg, Dumbarton u0.5tg
Edinburgh o0.5tg, Ross County o1.5g
DOUBLE 5/1
Best of luck all :)
a goal for the sons downs this at half time unfortunately :(
There certainly seems to be kf.
“They are self-absorbed, arrogant….and need to be the centre of attention”
Fortunately Macca, he’s so ridiculously easy to spot…
You decided on any other Premiership ante-post bets mate? Good luck with any bets today..
My Tennis plays today:
M Arnaldi -2.5 Games v F Cobolli 1.80, Pinnacle (NAP)
I’ve been really impressed with the improvements of Arnaldi over the past 12 months. He has been incredibly consistent and this season has very rarely lost to anyone on clay when favourite this year. He is 2-1 up in the head to head but all matches were close, although they have not played against each other for almost a year so it will be interesting to see how much Arnaldi has now improved. Cobolli had a decent win in the opening round against Cilic but he was coming back from knee surgery and hadn’t played since January so not sure how much you can take from that one. Arnaldi for me is playing the much better tennis at the moment so I am expecting to see an easier win this time around.
Double
M Andreeva 2-0 v Bondar x L Musetti 2-0 v J Kovalik 2.10, Bet365 (NB)
Andreeva looked excellent in her 1st round 6-0 6-2 win back on clay after a great debut Wimbledon. Bondar was lucky to beat Babos last week before being beaten easily 6-3 6-0 to Avanesyan. Andreeva’s movement especially on this surface is so good I just don’t see what Bondar can do to even make this one close really. It would take a massive off day from Andreeva to not win this comfortably. I backed Musetti on the handicap yesterday and he looked good. The defending champion will want another strong performance here against a player who was heavily beaten in qualifying. He may have already known he was going to be a lucky loser but either way I suspect Musetti should win with relative ease.
F Coria -1.5 Games v M Huesler 1.94, Pinnacle
Huesler has had a pretty average year and has barely put together any strong results on clay throughout the season. In fact he has only won two matches on the surface against Edmund (pretty much lost to everyone this season) and Mena (ranked 368). Most of his wins have come on indoor hard so this being a slow clay court will heavily favour Coria who will continue to get balls back and make Huesler play. Coria won the only previous head to head match 2 years ago, also on clay in 3 sets. On Coria’s preferred surface and after performing well last week in Bastad I think he should be confident in his chances to progress.
C Eubanks to beat B Nakashima 2.0, Betway
I was expecting Eubanks to start the favourite in this match given his form over the past couple of months. Nakashima has not had the best of seasons and will have to return incredibly well against the big Eubanks serve in order to try and force the errors. Eubanks went to college in the area so will be used to the conditions as well which could be a big help being so hot and humid. Will likely be a close match with the possibility of a tie break or two but I like Eubanks chances here with his serve and powerful baseline game. Think he should be priced at 1.85/1.90 so happy to have a small play at these odds.
Also still pending from yesterday:
S Wawrinka -3.5 Games v F Misolic 1.95, Pinnacle
I picked Wawrinka last week in Gstaad in his poor loss to Munar but willing to give him another chance here. On a slow clay court in Umag he should have far too much power for Misolic. As long as Wawrinka keeps the errors down this should be a comfortable win for the Swiss.
Good luck everyone today with your bets.
Having only been posting on here for the past couple of months I unfortunately took the bait of said individual and let it get to me over the last week or so. However, I’ve learned my lesson and will as kf and others have said just completely ignore going forward 👍
I’m just holding off for now as waiting on possible transfers, Harry Kane could still move i’m doubting that this late on but Bayern are being persistent.
Cheers Macca. Look forward to seeing them mate…
Quick post kicking off shortly ,
Lion City under 6.5 mg’s
Nantong over 2.5 mg’s
Double 1.46/1
Godluck………
Goal short in China 👎
Do you think Spurs will be competitive next season then Macca? Even if Kane stays I think it will be another long hard season for them, especially with their defence. Think they will struggle to get in top 6 again personally and I actually think Villa will finish ahead of them especially if Kane does go to Bayern. Was really impressed with how Villa were playing towards the end of the season and think they have made a few really good additions. Not sure many teams will enjoy playing them especially at Villa park.
Yeah I think Villa will be strong and a pain in the harris to play. They have Europe though and they aren’t used to the Thursday Saturday/Sunday switching of games so we’ll have to see how that pans out. Same could be said of Newcastle United another side who will find it difficult switching from midweek to weekend games. If Spurs do end up selling Kane then they are in trouble and if this happens to be the case then i’ll be adjusting my bet on them, barring that though with no Europe top four has to be their main aim and i think they will get it now Conte’s outdated football has gone from the club.
Yesterday’s bet won at 11/8
Today’s bet
Chacaritas v cuniburo
Both teams to score
William hill 21/20
NAP
For anyone using PaddyPower’s “money back as free bet if 1 leg lets you down” (ACCAs & Bet-Builders) promo, PaddyPower has sneakily changed the T&C’s from yesterday.
In the past, you received a free bet which could be used for anything. From now on, the free bet can ONLY be used for 4 leg ACCAs or Bet Builders.
Keep that ante post chit chat coming lads…excellent little pointers. My own rule of thumb for my Premier league selection is always avoid the teams that aren’t used to Europe. So scrathcheď Villa and Newcastle…too risky as you don’t know how they’ll handle the midweek game. Not sure if I put this on here a month or so ago about opening an ISA for your betting…briefly….what I do is put every bit of money I take out of the bookies including my stake into the ISA…make sure its a one you cant withdraw from. I set mine at 2 years usually. What this does is let’s say you get lucky and win a big 5 fold acca that pays a few grand… and usually alot of gamblers see this as “the bookies money” and they will bet bigger bets as its ” free money” and usually they blow it….by putting every single bit of money from every bet you have into the ISA this makes you have to use the money in your bank account you have worked damn hard for all week…2 years later you have a big wad to buy a new car or whatever ….then start again. Tell this to everyone I meet who likes a bet almost everyone has said its the best tip they’ve ever had. Worked wonders in my own experience..
I agree Europe could be a distraction for Villa but not sure how seriously they will take the Conference League? Even so they have a pretty decent squad in terms of size so may be able to rotate for those games and still win against the poorer teams. I just think a front 3 of Bailey, Diaby and Watkins with all that pace is going to cause a lot of teams serious problems.
I think Europe could play a bigger role for Newcastle as they will obviously play their best team in the Champions league.
Just not feeling Spurs at all next season. I think all of the Kane talk is going to be a distraction and in all honesty I just don’t think they have a good enough squad for top 4 at present and that’s even assuming Kane does stay. Not being in Europe will help them but unless they make some further additions in particular to the centre backs and centre mid areas I think they may struggle for top 6 again.
Over 2.5 match goals acca for a bit of afternoon interest!
Home teams listed only:-Bordeaux
Emirates
Japs U20
Karkonosze
Lille
All 2.5+ @ 12/1 (fivefold)
I’m pretty sure Villa will want to win it, it’s a stepping stone, i don’t think a lot people realise how big a club Villa are.
Women’s world cup just 2 BTTS in 21 games
Seems minnows have learned to defend better than previous tournaments but sadly still lack a goal threat.
Happy to lose 1 or 2-0 rather than go for it.
Maybe the knockout games will see more action at both ends
Lausanne
Klaksvik
Stjarnan

Mighty fine tipping, really well done 👌🏿
Keeping it small stakes on the footie until the top league are back, will mostly be concentrating on the horses so my tips will be on there mainly.

Macca, not sure if you will see this but I remember your comment the other day re the Premier League friendlies in the USA. Do you see goals in tonight’s games as well?
I’m on over 3.5 goals mate, Only reservation I have is teams might not rotate as much with them being a couple of friendlies in. Having said that though imo they are there to advertise the Premier League so hopefully another open game.
Cheers, will follow – good luck!
On all 5 games Macca?
All 3 prem games, sensible stakes as there only friendlies, leaving Madrid game out.

Well done to the mods for taking that post down 👏 no one wants to read nasty name calling like that. Let’s keep the peace lads. Makes for uncomfortable reading no matter if its against a guy winding the tipsters up
On your bet macca lad bit entertainment while at work through the night 👍👍
