Udinese were held to a 1-1 draw by Empoli on their return to action after the international break. They were made to come from behind with Roberto Pereyra getting the equaliser midway through the second half after the visitors had struck early in the contest.
That result was a continuation of Udinese’s pre World Cup form as they have now extended their winless run to eight matches. Despite that poor run, Andrea Sottil’s men remain in the top half of the table and are still just eight points off the playoff places.
Things have also been rough for Udinese on their travels as they are winless in their last four away matches. Their last Serie A fixture on the road was a 3-2 defeat to leaders Napoli just before the international break.

Juventus’ excellent form in recent weeks has been driven by a solid defence which has kept seven straight clean sheets in Serie A. Defender Bremer has been a pivotal figure at the heart of the defence and can lead the Turin club to another clean sheet at 6/4 with bet365.
