It was really nice to see Inspiral bounce back to form yesterday at Deauville under a calm and patient Frankie. She is a a top-quality horse and will be tough to beat on her day considering she currently gets all the allowances being a 3yo and a filly.
Deauville 2:50
Monday's racing looks fairly poor so I've opted to stay at Deauville for my one selection of the day. It can sometimes be tough to weigh up French horse form but from what I can see and compare it to, these don't look bombproof and the favourite is definitely worth taking on.
I've gone for the English raider, MISSED THE CUT, trained by George Boughey and ridden by Ryan Moore. This lightly raced 3yo son of Quality Road has won three of his four career runs, being impressive on every single one other than his debut where he was unfancied at 33/1 and was beaten by New London who has turned into a good horse in his own rights. Since then he has won races by 11L, 5.5L and 4.25L with his most recent win coming in a Royal Ascot handicap where he was very well-supported into 5/2F and justified it in great style. To win any race by 4.25L is a great achievement, but to win a Royal Ascot handicap by that amount is fairly special, as they are meant to be the most competitive handicaps of the year. He was clearly well-handicapped off a mark of 95 that day and was a group horse in a handicap.
Today he faces his hardest task now he's been upped in class into a Group 2. However, I think he could make mincemeat of this and the 2/1 which is floating around is a great alternative to the favourite. George could've kept it simple and raced him in a Class 1 listed race in the UK where he would've been tough to beat, but instead, they've skipped Listed and Group 3 honours and gone for the Group 2 today. That shows the belief they have in this horse, and I can't blame them as he has been impressive since his debut.
This race is fairly new with this only being the fifth renewal, but a positive stat for the selection is that the previous four have been won by English yards. Dubai Honour won this race last year, and he arrived in this as a handicapper, so it goes to show that it is possible.
No Say Ever 4.40 Dundalk could be over priced at 80s for 4 places
50s for 7 places ew extra bet365

Bowerman in the same race looks value too at big odds. I’ll do both, thanks GP
Funnily enough, I looked at bowerman first cos I backed last time out, but I just thought No say ever was too bigger price to ignore. Good luck with both
Sudden interest in Golden Twilight in 440, in from 18s to 9s in the blink of an eye
Golden Twilight takes it at 15/2
🇫🇷 Samarham…3.25. 15/8. Bet365. (*** met trouble I’m running at least twice when trying to get a run in the G3 Oaks at Goodwood but finishing really strongly once he got a run and would have won imo if it wasn’t for having to stall his run)

There’s an old gent that does the late shift on it that’s very good picking 1-2-3s.
Along with his race commentator who’s goy a strange saying when the horses leave the gate. Think it’s French?
They were having a debate about there “Top 20” racing commentators between races the other night? 😆 🥱
Like my racing but I can’t mind the guy from ITVs right now ffs?
