The good form came to an end yesterday, as it returned to a usual tough Saturday, where there were a lot of big priced winners. Sorry for those that followed yesterday’s selections, as they were horrendous. What was annoying to see was the Il Etait Temps race where the two at the front of market went 20 lengths clear and the rest were never involved. Terrible race, and it’s happened a few times this week at Punchestown.

RED VERDON has ran some respectable races before being 4th on Friday at this track. He's not the force of old but off a mark of 97 (104 – 7lbs for Harry Davies) makes him of real interest in this. Back into a handicap I think he shouldn't be overlooked. This doesn't look the deepest of races, and more than likely the horses towards the bottom of the weights will be fancied the most, which is fair enough, but I don't think they are bulletproof, and should be taken on at the odds.
I'm writing this quite early on Saturday, so there is a strong possibility that he is a NR come the time this is put up (I'm out on Saturday afternoon), so if that's the case then my apologies. However, the fact they've not pulled him out yet and have young Harry Davies jocked up suggests they are going ahead with this race, and the jockey booking is encouraging that they fancy their chances off a reduced weight. This horse will like a fast pace, and there is a possibility that could be set up nicely by the two Johnston horses who both like to get on with things, as well as Hiroshima who has made the running in the past.
Despite his age, Red Verdon is still the class horse in the race and if any of these horses in this race ran in the Newbury Group 3 he ran in a couple of weeks ago, there is no way on this planet and of them would have finished 5.25L behind the winner, Max Vega who produced an RPR of 113, and for that reason I think he is a very good EW price.
Ed Dunlop is in tremendous form of late winning 9 times from the last 39 runners in the last fortnight (23% SR). He has only used Harry Davies once and that was on this horse on his season reappearance where he finished 2nd.

This race looks full of potential superstars over a number of different trips, but the one I like might come as a surprise as she's not exactly the most well fancied in the market, but I felt she ran a monstrous race at this track over this distance in the Fillies' Mile last year and screamed out a 1000 Guineas horse. MISE EN SCENE is my fancy for the 1000 Guineas for the relatively new trainer James Ferguson.
If this filly has matured and progressed from 2 to 3 then she is going be playing a major role in this race as she was impressive last year. The way in which she powered through the dip and the rising ground in the final furlong was very eye-catching to me and she was motoring towards the line. The winner of the race, Inspiral, isn't a runner in this so there is every chance this filly can go on and win this race. That race has produced winners with Cachet (3rd) and Wild Beauty (5th) both winning on their first starts this year. Though they are tied in closely on form, I feel the extra stamina and staying power of this Siyouni filly is what makes her a much more attractive proposition. Over the years, the Fillies' Mile has produced some very good horses and I can't see that being any different from last year. James Ferguson arrives to this meeting in cracking form, with four of his last eight runners winning, at odds of 13/2, 5/1, 100/30 & 9/4, not one favourite in sight, which is encouraging.
They normally get racing quite early in the Guineas, so you want a horse who might stay slightly further, and I think this is the most attractive bet in this race.
Watch out Ryan Moore’s our today and it’s all his fault 😂

Go for the Soumillon double you know it makes sense ! 💰💰😋 he did me a good turn yesterday. Might also do a small stake 4 fold with your first 2 . Best of luck anyway 🤞
Hi Elvis I was going to lump on Skalletti last night as i have a few times but he doesn’t have his soft/heavy ground that he loves also he had fitness advantage on the rest of the field the last time now Sealiway & Mare Australis have had a run.
Watching race for me now but on that ground it wouldn’t surprise me if Sealiway turns the form around.
GL though 👍
I bet Ryan Moore ruins the double !!! Typical I bet today he produces the goods like he must of seen the posts about him 😂 I’m hoping people back him so the prices get bigger on the soumillon double
Interesting that Christophe soumillon is over here to ride ebayira 3-00 and malavath in the Guinness when there is a good card in longchamp today.
Andre Fabre also sends zellie over for the Guinness.
Question is why are they here when the French version is only a week away ??.
The English version looks a very strong race today, lots of potential improvers in there.
SKYBET have some place doubles to finish in the top 5 in this race so tried a few for interest
I fancy malavath to run well but instead of straight win split stake in 4 so is in all 4.
Malavath And zellie 11-4

Mise En Scene is a NR due to a high temperature this morning. Gutted as I thought she had a really good chance today.
Give us another Rizz we need all the beer tokens we can muster today 👍
Nothing else looks like a bet for me today at the moment. I’ll be having a play in the Guineas for a little bit of fun. Going with Juncture & Zellie, but wouldn’t be confident at all.
I put up TUESDAY as my 1k guineas horse a few weeks back prior to her maiden win. She’s a
Full sister to Minding and there has to be doubts about the fav on breeding being by Carravaggio out of a Pivitol Mare who is 0-5 with guineas runners.
